WEEK 1 COLOR WONDER Make a rainbow’s worth of art projects and play creatively with surprising materials and wild color combinations.
THE ART OF COMICS I Learn how your favorite comics and illustrations are made! Expand your drawing and visual storytelling skills as you practice character development, storyboarding, and more.
FAIRYTALES and LEGENDS Step into a world of imaginary creatures, superpowers and fun. Get inspired by fairy tales and legends, create mosaics, paintings, mixed media works and more.
INTRODUCTION TO DRAWINGDevelop your drawing abilities by working from observation and imagination, as you try your hands on charcoal, pencils, and other media.
WEEK 3
JULY 6–9(No camp on July 5)
ART JOURNEYLet’s draw, paint, collage, sculpt, make friends and have fun! Learn about artists and art-making techniques as you gain and expand your artistic and social skills.
THE ART OF COMICS II Join the generation of artists telling stories using sequential images. Develop, draw, and visualize your own story with innovative styles, techniques, and character designs.
WEEK 4
JULY 12–16
IMAGINATION STATION Let’s unleash imagination and create the most incredibly unbelievable outstandingly impossible artworks and thingamajigs ever!
WEEK 5
JULY 19–23
MARVELOUS NATURECelebrate our planet and its natural treasures by making art that is all about the air, earth and water, plants, animals, and more!
WEEK 6
JULY 26–30
PRINT IT! Stamp, carve, and print as you explore the many ways of printing unique patterns and designs on all types of paper, fabric and other materials.
NOTE: Summer Art Camp will take place in PAFA’s Historic Landmark Building again with new, recommended safety measures as part of PAFA’s safe reopening plan. To promote best safe practices, camp will operate at 25% enrollment.

THE ART OF MYTHOLOGYReveal ancient stories and get inspired by heroes and heroines of the ancient times. Design your own mythological characters and settings using a variety of artistic tools and materials.
INTRODUCTION TO PAINTINGEmbark on a creative journey into the art of painting. Experiment with color-mixing, composition, form, and space using acrylic and watercolor paints and a variety of artistic tools.
ROLL, PRINT, PRESSInspired by the many print works at PAFA, make your own stamps and stencils and practice printing unique patterns and designs on all types of paper, fabric and other materials.
