• Aggregate scores: L1R5; L1R4; etc

When choosing…

IMPORTANT

- Consider choices wisely

- Based on merit according to net aggregate score)

- Make full use of all 12 choices

- Indicate at least 2-3 courses where your aggregate scores are much better than the previous year’s course cut-off points

- Appeal for JC: need to meet COP of JC course for the year

HOW?• Online using JAE-IS (JAE Internet System)

• JAE website at

www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/joint-admissions-exercise

• You will need to use your NRIC or FIN number together with JAE-PIN provided in Form A.

• Complete course application worksheet (provided in both Form A and JAE Information booklet, p10) before logging on the JAE-IS

• To minimise online application time

** Users with no activity on the computer for more than 10 minutes would be logged out by the system.

• Application is considered successfully submitted only when VS page appears

• Print your VS and keep it

• Feeder Schools …...– 2 bonus points if you choose SAJC as your

(a) First choice, or

(b) First and Second choices

• A1-C6 in both first lang. : 2 pts

• CCA: Excellent, A (2 pts)

Good, B/C (1 pt )

Max of 4 bonus points

Bonus points in other categories

• Successful applicants in LEP (2 pts)

Bonus points are used for ranking purposes and NOT for eligibility for

courses under JAE.

Max of 6 bonus points

Progression Pathways for Sec 4 NA (with O Level subjects)

• 2018 Sec 4NA students given conditional offers in DPP will automatically be confirmed if they meet eligibility criteria

• At the same time, newly eligible students will be invited to apply for PFP and/or DPP

• However, students who do not meet the criteria are to return to enter Secondary 5

Release of Posting Results

• 31 Jan through

(a) JAE-IS, accessible thru JAE website at http://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/jae

(b) MOE Customer Service: 6872 2220

(c) SMS if applicant provides mobile number during JAE

* Those who are admitted to JC are to report on 1 Feb, 7:30am

Re-admission to Sec 4E/5N

Eligibility Criteria:

1. 2 GCE ‘O’ Level passes or less & aggregate

of 44 pts & below in 5 subjects (CCA excluded)

OR

3 or more GCE ‘O’ level passes (excl. CCA)

but do not qualify for JC, MI or Poly.

2. Enrolled in govt or govt-aided sch in 2018

3. Under 20 yrs of age on 1 Jan 2019

4. GCE ‘O’ Level Exam 2018 is the 1st

attempt

Appeal of results

1. Obtain form from GO and fill up duly

2. Submit form to GO and make payment ($112.35) by 17 Jan, 4pm

3. Appeal outcome will be released on 22 Feb.

Procedures

• Obtain form from Mdm Nurlena (Gen. Office)

• Application dates:

First period:

Between 1st to 5th working day from the date

of release of GCE ‘O’ level examination results [14 Jan to 18 Jan]

Second period:

1st to 5th working day, from the date of release of the JAE posting results. [31 Jan to 8 Feb]

Submit COMPLETED form to Mdm Nurlena.

IMPORTANT

• Check personal particulars

• If there is an error, to immediately alert
