Paco de Lucia
was a composer and a guitarist from Spain. He was born on 21st December
1947 and he died in 25th February 2014.
Paco de Lucia started to grow up in a family environment interested in
flamenco and it is his father who taught him his musical education.
Eventually Paco acted with great success in Europe, North America and
Japan. Ones of his compositions are: Between Two Waters, Aranjuéz
Concert, Like Water, Tico Tico and River Width. He worked with Malú,
Ramón de Algeciras, John McLaugwin, Chick Corea and Camarón.
At the end of his life Paco de Lucia devoted to compose songs. He thought
concerts took the air and compositions remained forever. He lived in Playa
del Carmen, a small city in the Caribbean. He died of a heart attack.
