WARRANTY

1. TechTool International warrants only that the merchandise, products, or parts thereof, sold or rented to customers, shall be free from original defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of shipment and not that they will accomplish any particular results. There are no warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability, fitness or otherwise which extend beyond those stated in the immediately preceding sentence. Liability of TechTool International and the sole remedy in any cause of action, (whether in contract, tort, breach of warrantee or otherwise) of any one damaged under this warranty, is exclusively limited to replacement of, or at TechTool’s option, to the allowance of credit, for defective equipment or parts, which may be returned within one year after date of shipment from TechTool International’s warehouse, provided that all transportation charges are prepaid to TechTool International in Houston, Texas, and which upon examination shall disclose original defects to the satisfaction of TechTool International,. This guarantee does not include payment of labor charges for replacement of parts, repairs, or any other work done. In no event shall TechTool international be liable for special, incidental, indirect, punitive or consequential damages of any kind.

2. Services rendered by TechTool International in connection with rental, sale or installation of it’s products, consist only of technical advise as to inspection, operation, or use of such products. When any such services are rendered, customer will retain full custody, control, and supervision of the work and or the well and the conduct of the operation thereof, and a representative of the customer shall be present with full authority to direct operations.

3. Customer will indemnify and hold TechTool International harmless from any and all liability or claim of liability to any person, firm, or corporation for damage to person or property arising out of, or in connection with the use of any TechTool International products sold or rented hereunder, or the rendering of services hereunder, except for damage caused solely by the willful negligence of TechTool International.

4. Products not sold to customer will remain the property of TechTool International, and are not to be repaired or modified without the consent of TechTool International. If lost or damaged beyond ordinary wear and tear, such products will be charged for as provided for by TechTool International’s current pricing policy. TechTool International upon ten days notice may repossess any equipment belonging to TechTool International in customer’s possession.

5. If property belonging to TechTool International is lost in or out of the well, customer shall either recover such equipment at it’s cost and return to TechTool International or at TechTool International’s request pay TechTool International therefore. If the equipment is recovered in satisfactory condition at a later date, the customer may return it to TechTool International in accordance to TechTool International’s returns and cancellation policy.

6. TechTool International assumes no responsibility relating to cost of removing any equipment that necessitates the removal of the tubing.

7. All of the preceding terms and conditions shall apply between TechTool International and any service company, operator, or any parties, selling renting or using TechTool International products, parts or service.

8. Except for warranties specifically set forth herein, there shall be no express warranties or implied warranties. There shall be no warranty of merchantability with respect to the goods sold hereunder. Furthermore TechTool International makes no warranty that the goods sold or rented hereunder are fit for any particular purpose. In addition, buyer in purchasing the goods sold hereunder expressly agrees that the liability of TechTool International, if any, shall be limited to the replacement in accordance with section (1) hereof.

9. No agent, or representative of TechTool International has any authority to bind TechTool International to any affirmation, representation or warranty concerning goods sold or rented, and unless an affirmation, representation or warranty made by agent, employee or representative is specifically included within a written agreement, it shall not be enforceable by the buyer or the renter.

10. The warranty herein is for the benefit of the initial purchaser only and no assignees, transferees, or third parties, shall have any rights against TechTool International.

11 TechTool International reserves the right to modify and improve the design and method of construction of any of it’s merchandise, without incurring any obligation to install such modification or improvement on merchandise manufactured, sold, or rented, prior to or after the modification or improvement was instituted.

12 These general terms and conditions shall constitute a contract between customer and TechTool International. Such contract shall be governed, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas in the United States of America.

MODEL “TS-IX” DOUBLE-GRIP PACKER

The TechTool TechTool TechTool TechTool model “TS-IX” is a single-string, double-grip retrievable, lockset type packer. It utilizes a unique “sequential release”, double-grip, mechanical hold-down system, which enables it to hold differential pressures securely from both above and below the packer. Movement of the packing element is prevented and pack-off is maintained, by this double-grip feature.

This packer can be set using either tension or compression, and once set, may be left in either mode or in neutral, without any danger of the packer releasing accidentally.

The large, pressure balanced, internal, by-pass valve, allows the packer to be run and retrieved with minimal pressure surge forces being exerted on the packer and the well bore. When un-setting the packer, the by-pass opens before the upper slips release, thereby allowing the differential pressure across the packer to equalize safely.

The TechToolTechToolTechToolTechTool model “TS-IX” packer has an open J-slot, located on the outside of the packer body. This feature helps to prevent setting and releasing problems, which could be encountered, due to solids settling out in the well bore or completion fluids.

The TechToolTechToolTechToolTechTool model “TS-IX” packer is ideal for all completion and workover operations where an extremely reliable, lockset type packer is required. FEATURES:

MODEL “TS-III” SINGLE-GRIP PACKER

The TechTool TechTool TechTool TechTool model “TS-III” is a single-string, single-grip retrievable packer. It does not have any upper hold down slips and is only suitable for installations where no differential pressure is expected from below the packer.

From the packing elements down, the “TS-III” is identical to the “TS-II” packer and it operates the same..

The “TS-III” is designed with a large internal by-pass to prevent swabbing when running and retrieving.

MODEL “TECSNAP I” PACKER

The TechTool TechTool TechTool TechTool model “TECSNAP I” compression set, single string packer is used in multi-zone completions and requires only straight set down weight to pack off. The “TECSNAP I” packer is generally run above another packer such as the TSIX, TSII or TSIII for selective production or to isolate casing holes or perforations. Since the “TECSNAP I” has no upper or lower slips, it should only be used where intermediate differential pressures from below are expected. The “TECSNAP I” is equipped with an internal latch which prevents the packer from presetting when running in the hole. When releasing, the latch re-engages to allow the packer to be moved down hole if neccessary. To release the “TECSNAP I”, pick straight up on the tubing string. FEATURES:

The TechTool TechTool TechTool TechTool model “TECSNAP II” compression set, single string packer is used in multi-zone completions. The “TECSNAP II” packer is used where high differential pressures above the packer are not expected. The “TECSNAP II” sets in compression with an anchor style packer below it. MODEL “TL” SHEAR-TENSION PACKER

The T e c h T o o l T e c h T o o l model “TL” Shear Tension Packer is an economical tool designed for injection, pumping and medium range treating or production applications. The packer is set by ¼ right hand rotation of the tubing and then pulling tension. To release, the tubing is slacked off and the packer automatically re-jays into the release position. MODEL “AS5” AND “AS6” COMPRESSION PACKERS AS5 COMPRESSION SET ANCHOR PACKER The “AS5” Compression Anchor Packer is run either in tandem with a model “AS6” Single Grip compression packer or above a permanent packer allowing zone isolation for production, injection, or well repair. The “AS5” is the only tool of it’s kind to offer a locking mechanism so that the straddle assembly can be run with an on/off tubing seal divider above it, allowing the tools to be left in the well, to function as a small bore frac liner or casing straddle packoff. AS6 COMPRESSION SET SINGLE GRIP PACKER The model “AS6” Single Grip Compression Packer is designed for applications with low differential pressures from below the packer. Using a straight J-slot design allows torque to be applied to the tubing above to enable the “AS5” to be activated when they are run in tandem for straddle applications. The internal bypass seal design allows the “AS6” to handle pressure balance changes without causing the seal to open prematurely. When run in tandem with the “AS5”, the “AS6” becomes the lower half of a large isolation assembly and when run with a Shear Port Sub or Sliding Sleeve in between, can be used for selectively treating lower and upper zones.

MODEL “KTC” TANDEM TENSION PACKER The TechTool model “KTC TANDEM TENSION PACKER” is a dependable, inexpensive, isolation packer. It is designed to be run in multiple-zone waterflood installations. One or more “KTC TANDEM TENSION PACKER” are used above either a tension set packer or a packer that holds loads from both directions. The TechTool model “ICTC TANDEM TENSION PACKER” can be shear pinned in the jayed or un-jayed position, depending on the application. A built in unloader allows fluid to bypass the packing elements for pressure equalization before the packer is retrieved. OPERATION Setting: If the packer is pinned in the jayed position, apply set down weight to shear the pins. Rotate the tubing 1/8 of a turn to the left at the packer and apply tension. If the packer is pinned in the un-jayed position, the shear pins can be sheared with either tension or set down weight. Tension can then be applied to pack off the elements. If the lower packer cannot take weight, the “KTC TANDEM TENSION PACKER” must be pinned in the jayed position. Releasing: Slack off to remove tension and allow any differential pressure to equalize across the packer. Rotate the tubing to the right 1/8 of a turn at the packer and pick up. CASING PACKER

The TechTool TechTool TechTool TechTool Casing Packer is an extra large bore single grip tool which can be used to isolate casing leaks or bad casing, as well as for production or injection. The packer can be run in tension or compression. When equipped with a right hand release sub, the packer can be used as a liner hanger.

Coarse, deep wickered slips allow the packer to be set in open hole. The Casing Packer is generally equipped with two elements to assure a positive seal.

MODEL “RSB” RETRIEVABLE SEAL BORE PRODUCTION PACKER

The TechTool model “RSB” Retrievable, Seal Bore Packer delivers high performance with simplicity of design and desirable economics. It is a 10,000 PSI @ 300OF rated packer when dressed wi th the ECNER Array Packing System. It can also be dressed with standard Three Element Packing Elements for 8,000 PSI @ 300OF applications and a High Temperature Sealing System for 600OF Steam Injection Applications. While it is an ideal Gravel Pack Packer, it is also ideally suited for deep, high pressure, completions. A full line of packer and tubing seal accessories and elasotmers are available. SETTING PROCEDURE:

Run the RSB into the well using either Wireline Pressure Setting Assembly with the RSB Adapter kit or on tubing using a Hydraulic Setting Tool. RELEASING PROCEDURE: Run the RSB Retrieving Tool into the well on tubing and latch into the packer. Straight pickup shears the Supporting Ring away from the Collet fingers allowing the Collet to collapse. Continued upward movement releases the Slips and relaxes the Packing Element. Seal Bore Extension Used in installations where floating seals are required due to tubing contraction. These are available in five and ten foot length and allow for continuous seal bore.

Mill-Out Extension Used in installations where floating seals are required but allow for a larger inside diameter between the packer bore and seal bore extension to accept a packer plucker for retrieval if the packer is milled out.

When the packer is set it will hold pressure from below. Once the production string is landed, pressure is applied to the tubing and the pump-out plug is removed to allow full opening.

MODEL “B” TECDRILL SEAL BORE PRODUCTION PACKER TUBING ACCESSORIES Locator Seal Assembly The locator seal assembly is generally used in installations where floating seals are required. The locator prevents downward movement of the tubing string once landed, but allows the seal to move with tubing contraction. Anchor Latch Seal Assembly The anchor latch seal assembly is used where floating seals are not required. The latch assembly allows the tubing string to be in tension or compression. The anchor latch automatically latches into the packer upon set down and is removed with 8-10 turns of right-hand torque. Snap Latch Seal Assembly The snap latch seal assembly is similar to the anchor latch seal assembly in that it is latched into the packer with set down weight. The snap latch is removed with straight pull of 10-12,000 lbs. above tubing weight. Snap latch seal assemblies are generally used in installations where a mechanical indication is required to verify that the seal bore assembly is properly positioned in the packer bore. Seal Unit Standard seal units are furnished with bonded nitrile seal rings and a 24 inch make-up length. The units may be ordered in various lengths and with severe service rings for high temperature and corrosive environment applications. Half Mule Shoe Guide The half mule shoe guide is standard for the TechTool International seal assembly and allows for easy entry into the packer bore.




MODEL “TM” TUBING ANCHOR CATCHER

The Type TM Mechanical Tubing Anchor Catcher is a retrievable positive-action anchor designed to hold the tubing string in tension or compression. The anchor prevents movement of the tubing during pumping strokes and holds it stationary if it should part. The use of a tension tubing anchor increases pump efficiency, reduces rod and tubing wear. When the TechToolTechToolTechToolTechTool “TM” Anchor Catcher is properly set, there is no tool or slip movement during the pump strokes. It is set and released by simple rotation. The tool also features an emergency shear release, in the event that it cannot be released with normal rotation. The “TM” tubing anchor catcher has enclosed slips for added protection when running or retrieving, and features stainless steel drag springs. FEATURES:

MODEL “DB” TUBING ANCHOR CATCHER

The T e c h T o o l T e c h T o o l model “DB” Tubing Anchor Catcher is a heavy-duty mechanical tool designed to anchor the bottom of the tubing string in either tension or compression. When proper tension is pulled into the anchor it prevents movement of the tubing string during pumping strokes, thereby reducing sucker rod and tubing wear. The anchor also catches the tubing string if it should part and prevents it falling to the bottom of the well. The T e c h T o o lT e c h T o o l “DB” Anchor Catcher has hardened, long wearing drag blocks instead of drag springs and incorporates enclosed, double acting slips for more reliability and holding power. The enclosed slips provide extra resistance to breakage and if the do break they will be retained in the anchor and will not fall out into the well bore. LOCK DOWN NO-TORQUE TUBING ANCHOR CATCHER

The TechTool TechTool TechTool TechTool Lock Down, No-Torque, Tubing Anchor Catcher performs all the functions of a normal Anchor/Catcher but has the advantage of requiring only a quarter of a turn to the right to set or release. It is a reliable mechanical tool, designed to anchor the tubing string in either tension or compression and also resist downhole generated torque. When proper tension is pulled into the anchor it securely holds the tubing stationary during the pumping operation, thereby preventing tubing buckling and breathing from occurring and the tubing from torqueing up, when used with Progressive Cavity or Electric Submersible pumps. This increases pumping efficiency, and at the same time, reduces sucker rod and tubing wear, due to friction and tubing back-offs, due to reverse torque backlash. The anchor also catches the tubing string if it should part and prevents it falling to the bottom of the well.

When the TechToolTechToolTechToolTechTool Lock Down Anchor Catcher is properly set, there is no tool or slip movement during the pump strokes. It is set and released by simple quarter turn to the right. The tool also features an emergency shear release, in the event that it can not be released with normal rotation.

To release, set down, rotate the tubing to the right ½ turn at the Anchor and pick up. The slips will retract to the run-in position and the Anchor can be pulled from the well or relocated . MODEL “T-2” ON-OFF TOOL

The TechTool TechTool TechTool TechTool model “T-2” ON-OFF TOOL is tubing seal receptacle designed so the production tubing can be disconnected and retrieved without disturbing the packer and completion equipment below it. The Stinger incorporates an internal profile where wireline flow control devices can be set. When a wireline plug is installed, the packer becomes a temporary bridge plug, isolating the lower zone and allowing the removal and re-running of the production tubing string. The large washover shoe allows sand and other debris to be circulated out before latching onto the packer. PUMP-OUT CEMENTING SLEEVE

The TechTool TechTool TechTool TechTool Pump-Out Cementing Sleeve allows the cementing of a tubing string in a well, whether it is a cased or open hole. The design allows all of the internal part to be pumped out after cementing is complete, leaving a full open bore without a loss of tubing strength. The tool can be manufactured from any material to match the needs of the customer. A basket or packer can be placed below the sleeve to provide a seal point from which cement can be pumped up the outside of the tubing string.

OPERATION

Simple operating is the key to the Pump-Out Plug Cementing Sleeve. Dropping a trip ball and pressuring against it moves the lower piston past the cementing ports, allowing cement to be pumped outside of the tubing string. After displacing the cement desired, a wiper plug is pumped down to the sleeve. The wiper plug then moves the upper piston and outer sleeve over the cement ports. After closing the outer sleeve over the cementing ports, pins are sheared and the upper and lower pistons are pumped out of the bottom of the tool and on to bottom. This leaves a full opening through the sleeve to allow for unrestricted use through the sleeve.

CEMENTING PORT COLLAR

The TechTool Cement Port Collar is utilized for full access through casing to formations for stage cementing or treatment without the use of plugs and seats that require drill-out. The tool consists of a high strength steel outer casing and a pressure balanced sliding sleeve that exposes large diameter ports. The sleeve locks in the open and closed position but may be reopened or closed as often as necessary. The full bore locking sleeve provides for passage of tool strings without accidentally opening the sleeve on trips through. As many port collars as necessary may be run in the same casing string.

The TechTool Port Collar uses a special shifting tool run on tubing to manipulate the port collar open and closed. The shifting tool is a simple design that minimizes maintenance but provides for reliable and positive engagement to the port collar. With the shifting tool, precise tubing measurements for collar location are not required and the shifting tool may be positioned anywhere in the work string for future engagement.
