Our 2018 summer adventure will take us to the lovely Pacific Coast! Nature’s beauty is around every curve as we wind our way down the gorgeous Oregon coast along the famous Highway 101. Names and destinations you’ve heard so much about… Redwoods National Park, Avenue of the Giants, Coos Bay, Multnomah Falls, and the majestic Yosemite National Park await our arrival. This trip’s itinerary is sure to WOW you!

Time flies when you’re having fun! Our trip calendar has offered a variety of experiences to our members this year and we hope to continue to be a part of your travel plans for 2018. We are announcing our June 2018 trip with travel presentations in our Manchester, Ackley and Grundy Center locations. You do not need to be a member to attend the show. The Pacific Coast is a wonderful part of the country and we’re excited to be headed to this lovely area.
Our winter getaway is to the beautiful and exotic Hawaiian Islands. We’ll visit three of the Hawaiian Islands: Oahu, Hawaii (The Big Island) and Maui. This trip offers the destination that is often at the top of many bucket lists. Make your plans now! Full trip details are included in this newsletter. Our annual Branson trip this November is always popular and we still have availability if you’re looking to kick-off the Christmas season in style!

Our winter adventure plans will help you cross a destination off your bucket list as we travel to the beautiful islands of Hawaii! As the most populated island, Oahu is home to the state capitol and an eclectic fusion of natural beauty and contemporary vibes. History buffs will enjoy the museums and memorials of Pearl Harbor and beach lovers will have the chance to chill and soak up the rays. There’s never a dull moment on this colorful island!
Often noted for having some of the best beaches in the world, Maui is a popular island destination for many Hawaii travelers. Maui is the second largest island and is one of the best places in the world to go whale watching. Maui boasts beautiful scenic drives and lovely sunrises and sunsets.
The largest and youngest of all the islands - the Big Island, Hawaii - holds 11 of the world’s 13 climate zones. From the snowcapped peaks of Mauna Kea, to the warm sandy beaches of the Kohala Coast, it truly is a world all its own. College of the Ozarks Tour & LunchThis Liberal Arts College charges no tuition for full-time students due to their extensive student work program and the generous donations they receive. This unique environment emphasizes ‘character’ education and allows students to thrive by not paying tuition, working for their education, graduating without debt, and overridingly valuing God and Country. In addition to traditional classes, the college also offers Patriotic and Christian courses.
Million Dollar QuartetThis smash-hit musical was inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock ‘n’ roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for the first and only time on December 4, 1956. This show brings that legendary night to life featuring a score of rock hits.
The Dutton FamilyThis performance features old favorites and new to inspire one more reason to celebrate the season! The Dutton’s are international touring and recording artists who perform bluegrass to classical music and everything in-between. Their show features a variety of instruments, including violin, banjo, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica, and drums.

You’ve met the Ladies…Now meet the Men!Wednesday, October 25 • Old Creamery TheatreSixth in the Church Basement Ladies series, Rise Up, O Men is a brand new musical comedy featuring the men of the church and your favorite church basement ladies who serve them. As these hard-working farmers discuss their scrap lumber piles and benefits of weld vs. solder, they unintentionally disrupt the order of the kitchen. But that’s what happens when you let the rooster in the hen house! Will you have fun? You betcha!
Please note: we must have 30 travelers from each region (Ackley/Grundy Center and Manchester) for the motorcoach to run - let your friends know to join in the fun!

Ackley/Grundy Center travelers: Along the way, enjoy visiting a gallery that features the amazing salt & pepper shaker collection of Traer resident, Ruth Rasmussen. Begun in 1946, it’s the largest collection of shakers in the U.S. west of the Mississippi River and the second largest in the world!Manchester travelers: Learn how a Christmas gift inspired a new business for three Cedar Rapids women. We’ll
stop at Olive’s Oil for a tasting and learn about the benefits and production of olive oil and balsamic vinegars.

Member Priority Date: This means that reservations will be accepted from only Go Club members, for a period of time. Once the Member Priority Date has passed, we are then happy to accommodate any reservations from non-members, pending space availability. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Go Club
member, please contact a Go Club team member and we’ll get you signed up.
Membership Policy: All bank customers and friends are welcome to join Go Club. Membership qualifications are a minimum $5,000 banking relationship with GNB Bank. Qualifying accounts are checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, loans, insurance or investment accounts. Members will receive our newsletter, invitations to attend club events and parties, and will have priority on trip sign-ups. Guests are welcome to travel when space is available.
Cancellation Policy: If you have signed up for a day trip, then find out you need to cancel, a full refund of your payment is guaranteed before the final payment deadline. After the deadline, you are welcome to find someone to travel in your place. If you cannot find a replacement, Go Club will make every effort to locate a person to travel in your place. If no replacement is found, every effort will be made to secure as much of your payment as possible from businesses where reservations have been made. Please realize that a 100% refund is not usually possible. On extended trips, a cancellation waiver is usually included for cancellations due to medical reasons. Please check with the Go Club director for more information.
Health Policy: Go Club is committed to insuring the good health and well-being of all our travelers. Some trips may be physically demanding, requiring a certain degree of strength and stamina. We reserve the right to determine the ability of a traveler to participate in trips that may jeopardize his/her health or safety or impede the participation of other travelers.
Sign-up Policy: Club members have priority on trip sign-ups. If you are a member and are traveling as a single, you are welcome to bring a guest with you as your roommate, regardless if they are a club member. Non-member trip registrations will be accepted after the listed priority date on each trip.
Late Fee Policy: There is an additional cost of $5 per day for late payment.
