WEEKEND SERIES: Pac-12 leader UCLA, which has won nine-straight series this year, is at Stanford...USC, one of three teams in the national top-10, enters the week 2.5 games back in the standing and is at Oregon State... Cal, following two-straight series losses is at Arizona, as the Wildcats continue to have the Pac-12’s top hitter and are the top hitting team... Tennessee Tech is at Arizona State in a non-conference affair in the desert ... Washington is at Oregon as the Huskies are 1.5 games in front of the Ducks for seventh place... Washington State is at Utah, as both teams have five Pac-12 wins.

SOME STAT NOTABLES: USC’s Bobby Stahel is on a 21-game hit streak, while Washington’s Braden Berry saw his 16-game hit streak end on Tuesday... Arizona’s Bobby Dalbec has reached base safely in all 37 games this season... Ryan Kellogg improved to 18-2 in Pac-12 games in his career with a win at Washington.. OSU’s Andrew Moore now has a 1.40 ERA, the best among Pac-12 starters, follow-ing a win over Arizona... of the Pac-12’s four seven-game winners, two are relievers (Bur and WSU’s Matt Bower) and two are starters (Kellogg and UCLA’s James Kaprielian)... UCLA’s David Berg (0.96) has the third-lowest ERA in the nation... Dalbec’s 12 homers ranks fifth in the NCAA, two behind national leader Andrew Benintendi from Arkansas... Scott Kingery’s .440 average to enter the week is second nationally... despite an off week, Arizona still ranks seventh nationally in batting entering the week... UCLA has the third-best strikeout to walk ratio in the nation (4.2 to 1)

STOPPER OF THE YEAR: Three players were on the NCBWA Stop-per of the Year midseason list including UCLA’s David Berg (0.98 ERA and 8 saves through Monday), ASU’s Ryan Burr (7-1, 2.76 ERA and 11 saves through Monday) and WSU’s Ian Hamilton (2.76 ERA and 9 saves through Monday).

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: STANFORD’s Drew Jackson and his .450 week and OREGON STATE’s Andrew Moore and his complete game eight-strikeout performance earned Pac-12 Player and Pitcher of the Week honors. JACKSON (Orinda, Calif.) had three multi-hit games last week, batting .450 with three doubles and a triple, as Stanford won its second-straight weekend series. Against Utah on Friday, he had four hits and two doubles and added another two hits and two RBIs on Saturday, going 7-for-14 for the weekend. MOORE (Eugene, Ore.), in a 3-1 win over Arizona, he scattered five hits, struck out eight and walked two to lower his season ERA to 1.40. Against Pac-12 competition it is even better, at 0.68. Arizona continues to lead the Pac-12 in hitting despite a .170 week. Moore is 4-1 overall with a .186 opponent batting average. This is Moore’s second honor of the season. NATIONAL RANKINGS: In Baseball America UCLA (28-8) remained at No. 3 followed by No. 7 Arizona State (25-11) and No. 10 USC (29-10).
