1. Trinidad and Tobago was invited to participate inthe Search and Rescue (SAR) Controllers Trainingand Meeting, hosted by the United States CoastGuard (USCG) and the National Oceanic andAtmospheric Administration (NOAA).
The training was held 24 ‐ 28 February, 2014 atthe National Satellite Operations Facility inMaryland USA, where three persons attended.

Conclusions resulting from this Training were:
Trinidad and Tobago is required to ensure that aContingency Structure is developed for its RCCs.
Trinidad and Tobago should submit all IncidentHistory Database forms to the USMCC forrecording purposes and that a facility be createdto store and share SAR data.
Trinidad and Tobago needs to update itsInternational Beacon Registration Database(IBRD).

2. Trinidad and Tobago in collaboration with theInternational Maritime Organization (IMO)hosted a SAR Administration Course during theperiod 5‐7 May, 2014.
The SAR Administration Course aligned itselfwith the on‐going initiatives of Trinidad andTobago to create a National and Regional SARPlan; and support the enhancement of theservices of the RCCs within Trinidad and Tobago.
