Schedule Angles directly from the WebClient
Some Every Angle customers do not have an integration with the Active Directory. This means that Every Angle users are maintained in the Windows local user store
of the Application Server host, and are unable to change their passwords without the help of the Server
Administrator. It is now possible for users to change their passwords via the WebClient.
Passwords with special characters are now accepted
Passwords with characters that are not in the basic ASCII range are now handled correctly and can be used to log
in to Every Angle.

End-user functionality
Introduced Breakdown duration fieldsNotifications are used in SAP as a cross-application component to record for example quality issues, customer complaints, service notifications and much more. Specifically in Plant Maintenance you can record the duration of asset breakdown to monitor equipment outage. Duration is typically stored in seconds in the SAP database. Every Angle has added a variety of fields to keep track of Breakdown duration in minutes, hours and days.
Period filtersThe ‘Period’ field types that have been introduced recently make it possible to filter on periods of time, for example select data from
‘Last Month’. This adds to existing functionality that already allowed users to specify ‘relative’ dates, e.g. select orders older than 7 days. The use of Period filters facilitate Angle definitions that don’t have to be changed when time progresses.
Moving filters from Display to AngleAngles and Display filters can be maintained independently from each other. The Angle definition determines the basic data
selection for each Display to which it is associated, however Displays can contain additional filters. Moving filters between them is now easier than ever. Business users with editing privileges can optimize their Angles by moving selection filters.
Application Managers can now use the built-in IT tab to monitor the set-up, usage and performance of their system. User Management highlights authorization and user activity to find inactive users and obsolete users. Angle Management introduces a variety of statistics
regarding the creation and usage of Angles and Displays in the system. Performance statistics such as the data extraction duration, model size growth and server loading phases provide insight with regards to regular refresh processes.
Objects for EA4IT now available on IT tab
An extended array of logs from the Application Server, Web Server and Model Server are available from the IT Management Console to monitor the stability and
performance of the hardware and application. The logs are used by Every Angle in the monitoring process that
is covered by the SLA. Application Managers can use log information to self-diagnose the system, set-up incident
monitoring and use system alerts to manage System Operations.
Logfiles from Application Server and Web Server now included in
Introduced Every Angle Support Manual for customers
IT users with access to the IT Management Console already have many instruments to handle Operations and 1st Line
Support. Every Angle has improved the documentation for Application Owners to use those instruments. It also communicates roles and responsibilities, allowing the
customer to be in control of their Every Angle application. Detailed instructions are available to use the IT
Management Console to control refresh processes, set-up extraction schedules, and embed application monitoring into
existing tooling to safeguard the correct operation of the software suite.
