FLASH MEDIA ENTERPRISE SERVER 4The heart of our Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Streaming is the new Flash Media Enterprise Server 4 that utilizes the powerful Real Time Media Flow Protocol (RTMFP). It enables robust client-to-client media delivery with minimum server bandwidth usage.

WHAT IS RTMFP P2P STREAMING?Unlike traditional video streaming, RTMFP P2P video streaming allows a media server to “initiate” the video delivery to an initial group of client computers and enable these and other client computers to “share” the video content without using the server’s bandwidth. In other words, more the simultaneous connections, more the bandwidth cost savings.

RTMFP also increases the speed of delivery through the use of User Datagram Protocol (UDP), whereas its “sibling” Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) is based on Transmission Control Protocol (TCP).

With Rapid Connection Restore, where connections are re-established quickly after brief outages, and IP Mobility, where active network peer sessions are maintained even if a client changes to a new IP address, RTMFP ensures an efficient and reliable streaming experience.

Deliver super-scale real-time streaming with ultra-low latency infinite scalability and minimum bandwidth usage. Perfect for massive social media integration.

P2P (Peer-to-Peer) STREAMING

WHO IS P2P STREAMING FOR?

• Launch massive social media- integrated apps for millions of users

• Real-time stream live events or pre- recorded content to the masses around the world

• Launch massively multiplayer online games that require a super-scale concurrent connections among players

• And other mega-scale real-time media projects that require robust delivery no matter how many users are involved, with minimum infrastructure and bandwidth costs.

Unleash the power of

P2P today.

We conveniently offer the latest versions of both FMIS and FMES, so you can choose just the right media server for your specific needs.

FMIS FMES

Utilizes Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) based on Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) for real-time interactivity.

Can deliver both real-time streaming or on-demand streaming in standard or high definition.

Is primarily designed to integrate interactive elements such as video chat, VoIP, multiplayer games, virtual classrooms, interactive training modules, etc.

Is primarily designed to integrate interactive elements such as video chat, VoIP, multiplayer games, virtual classrooms, interactive training modules, etc.

Utilizes RTMP and also Real Time Media Flow Protocol (RTMFP) based on User Datagram Protocol (UDP) for peer-to-peer real-time media delivery.

Is best suited for massive real-time streaming in standard definition.

Is primarily designed for ultra-low latency and minimum bandwidth usage, perfect for social media integration.

Does all that FMIS does plus can deliver video via assisted peer-to-peer. Provides lower total bandwidth costs and super-low latency.
