and either give to Father or drop in the collection basket. At. St. John there are yellow registration forms in the bookrack at the entrance or
at the Information Table. They can be returned to the office or put in the collection basket. If you have been a"ending but not yet regis-

New Beginnings Appreciation: Hello! I
wanted to reach out and express our overwhelming
thanks for such an amazing donation!
Cecelia Trueblood, one of your congregants, and a
member of the board of directors at New Beginnings,
has visited the Pregnancy Center with 2 donations, in
as many weeks!!. I wanted to send you pictures taken
of the donations to share with the St Jude and St John's
congregations. The special work of God that we have
been entrusted with at New Beginnings, is possible be-
cause of the sacrificial giving of His people that make up
so many of the
churches in Spencer and surrounding communities.
From the bo"om of our hearts, thank you!.
May God bless you richly.
With heartfelt thanks and prayers for your ministries,
Stacy Kristoff, Director New Beginnings Pregnancy
Resource Center,

Ugh,,,,it is that cold time of
year again. It came about a bit
early too. Both parishes could
use a helping hand to make
sure the parking lots are in
good shape. Thanks to all that
help us get to into church nice
and safe and warm.
Don’t forget to donate to the Angel Jar.
The proceeds of which help families in need at St.
Jude’s and in Owen County.

A Meditation
"The Lord manifests
Himself to those who stop for some time in peace
and humility of heart. If you look in murky and
turbulent waters, you cannot see the reflection of
your face. If you want to see the face of Christ,
stop and collect your thoughts in silence, and
close the door of your soul to the noise of exter-
nal things."
— St. Anthony of Padua
"The Spirit of God teaches us how we can live our faith
with great generosity of spirit. There is a vertical dimen-
sion to our faith (praising and worshiping God), but there
is also a horizontal dimension to our faith in which we
show our love to our sisters and brothers, God’s beloved
children."
Rev. Jude Winkler, p. 8 Daily Meditations Holy Spirit
"Now, as he was riding one day over the plain of Assisi he
met a leper, whose sudden appearance filled him with fear
and horror; but forthwith calling to mind the resolution
which he had made to follow after perfection, and remem-
bering that if he would be a soldier of Christ he must first
overcome himself, he dismounted from his horse and went
to meet the leper, that he might embrace him: and when
the poor man stretched out his hand to receive an alms, he
kissed it and filled it with money. Having again mounted
his horse, he looked around him over the wide and open
plain, but nowhere could he see the leper; upon which,
being filled with wonder and joy, he began devoutly to
give thanks to God, purposing within himself to proceed
to still greater things than this."
— St. Bonaventure, p. 4 The Life of St. Francis
Advise from the Saints
"When we contemplate the sufferings of Jesus He grants
us, according to the measure of our faith, the grace to
practice the virtues He revealed during those sacred
hours."
— St. Angela Merici
