1. A Civil Engineering Graduate of 1970 ( Gold Medallist ).

2. Joined Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. ( IOCL ) in December 1975, after working for 5years in Private & other Govt. Sectors.

3. During the first 27 years of the tenure in IOCL, have been directly involved inFeasibility Study / Planning / Execution / Management

of most of the major Pipeline Projects of the Company. Salaya - Mathura Pipeline,Mathura - Jalandhar Pipeline, Kandla - Bhatinda

Pipeline, Vadinar - Kandla Pipeline, Chennai - Trichy - Madurai Pipeline were some ofsuch projects.

4. For a four and a half year period (March 2003 to July 2007) thereafter, had led a group

in the Business Development Department ofIOCL that was responsible for marketing in various parts of the world, the core

strength / competencies of the Company in

 petroleum refining & pipeline transportation.

5. Was inducted in the Board of IOCL as Director (Pipelines) on 1st August 2007.Demitted the office of the Board Member on 31st

August 2009, after attaining the age of superannuation. Some of the significantmilestones that IOCL had achieved during my tenure

as Director (Pipelines) of the Company were :

* Commissioning of Paradip - Haldia Crude Oil Pipeline

* Commissioning of IOCL's first LPG Pipeline from Panipat to Jalandhar

* Commancement of execution of IOCL's first natural gas pipeline from Dadri toPanipat

* Commencement of execution of Chennai - Bangalore Pipeline

* IOCL's crossing the 10,000 km mark in its network length cross country pipelines.
