What is the difference between your different types of classes?
We offer 4 types of classes, each with its own pace, rhythm and schedule.
- General French: it means 3 hours per week (either 1h30 twice a week OR 3h in a row on one day).
You would use a textbook that would guide your progression. This type of classes focuses on quick
(but rather more intensive) progression.
- Club: 2 hours a week (mostly on mornings and early afternoon) in a class focused on maintening your
level and practice your French, braoden your knowledge of French culture.
- Workshop: 1h30 per week for advanced level focused on perfecting certain skills (extension of
vocabulary, debate and structure of your discourse).
- Lunch Hour: 1h per week at Lunch of conversation (no grammar or rigid structure). Maintain your level

A1 Level Summary In A1, you will be able to:
✓ understand and use common expressions and basic phrases aimed at satisfying basic needs; ✓ introduce yourself and others; ✓ ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know and things
you have; ✓ interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
A1.1 Course Details
Prerequisites No prerequisite. This is the entry point for people with no prior knowledge of French at all.
Indicative course contents Learn how to greet, introduce yourself and ask basic questions on identity or location.
Our method We use Immersion in French as we try to avoid at maximum English in the classroom. Since we focus on Communication French, our method is based on pair/group works in actual situations through task-based activities. Tutors will display/provide extra materials (videos, handouts, texts…) as needed in the class.

Prerequisites Having done A1.1 OR being a “false beginner” ie. having done a bit of French in the past, remembering the usual greetings and words but needing to consolidate that knowledge.
Content of Course Introduce yourself and your family. Learn how to say what you like or don't. Talk about your daily routine.

Since we focus on Communication French, our method is based on pair/group works in actual situations through task-based activities. ✓ describe, in simple terms, aspects of your background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
A2.1 Course Details
Prerequisites Having done A1.2 OR having passed a A1 DELF diploma. You can join this course if you have a good command of the present tense and master the goals outlined in the description of the A1 level above.
Content of Course Talk about past events. Talk about the weather. Make an itinerary, plan your visit.

Since we focus on Communication French, our method is based on pair/group works in actual situations through task-based activities. Content of Course Describe what you are wearing. Learn how to order food, make your everyday shopping and more basic transactions in shops. Talk about your memories.

Content of Course Perfect your grammar (oral and written uses). Deepen your skills in debates and discussions. Work on the 4 competencies (Speaking, hearing, reading and writing). At this level, there is not a clear defined programme. The tutor will follow the needs and aspirations of the students and chose the subjects according to current affairs and news.
