Ozma Shawlette – Small Size Abbreviations: CO – cast on BO – bind off k – knit kfb – knit front back k2tog – knit two together w&t – wrap and turn Gauge: 6 sts per inch with sock weight on size 4 needles. (Note: there will be 5 increase rows between each Short Row Ruffle) Center: Work in Garter stitch for 12 Rows. (Note check weight of yarn remaining after working 6 rows, you need a little over 50% of your yarn remaining at this point. If needed you can make this section shorter than the 12 rows rather than ripping back your work.) Work Short Row Ruffle. Decreasing section: 6. K to end. 7. K to 3 sts before end, k2tog, k1. 8. K to end. 9. K to end. Repeat rows 6-9 three more times, then work rows 6 and 7 once more.
