OZAWKIE TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY CENTER RENTAL AGREEMENT AND RELEASE

In consideration of the leasing of the prennises known as the Ozawkie Township Community Center at the address described below (the Premises) the undersigned for itself, its heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns hereby agrees to forever discharges Ozawkie Township, its officers, directors, agents, members, servants and employees from any and all suits, actions, causes of action, claims or demands for damages, costs, loss of use, loss of services, expenses, compensation, consequential damage, punitive damage, or any other thing whatsoever on account of, or in any way growing out of, any and all property damage, personal injuries, illnesses, death or any other thing resulting or to result from any occurrence or accident that may happen as a result of or arise out of the leasing or use of the Premises (the Premises Claims).

The undersigned hereby agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Ozawkie Township against Premises Claims brought by any person or entity.

This agreement and release shall not be pleaded by the undersigned as a bar to any claim or suit, nor asserted as an admission of liability against the persons, firms and corporations hereby released.

This agreement and release contains the entire agreement between the parties hereto, and its terms are contractual and not a mere recital. Any reference herein to the masculine, feminine or neuter gender shall be deemed to include any gender, which the context of such reference shall require.

The undersigned hereby executed and delivers this agreement and release to induce Ozawkie Township to lease the premises to the undersigned.

Rent for a one time use of hall is based upon address of renter.

Make separate check for $40.00 to Ozawkie Township for key and cleaning deposit. Once the key is returned and the hall has been inspected and found clean the deposit will be returned. However, if the hall is left dirty, the entire deposit will be forfeited. If this should happen, you will be contacted on the number given on the rental agreement.

1. Please read and sign the Ozawkie Township Hall Rental Agreement and Release. The agreement must be signed by a responsible adult above the age of 18. Any unsigned agreements are void.

2. Complete the Payment Review sheet: 3. Return the Ozawkie Township Hall Rental Agreement and Release and Payment Review sheet

with your payment and $40.00 cleaning deposit. Your reservation will be made, if available, upon receipt of all these documents with payment.

4. The renter should make contact with the hall manager 2-4 days before the rental to make arrangements for key pick up.

5. The cleanup check list is posted on the Township Hall bulletin board. Use it! You may also submit the check list with comments when you return the key.

6. Leave the key, and optional check list, in the locked mail box by the fire station door (white door North of hall) after your function. A lost or unreturned key will result in the loss of the $40.00 cleaning deposit.
