General Public - GeoTracker users such as home buyers,

GeoTracker (GT) went into production in 2001

Entry of new Non-WDR projects into the GT database

Setting priorities and managing case / project work load

Compliance and enforcement

Report generation for management (e.g. “Performance Measures”)

Electronic (paperless) storage of case / project information, including regulator activities, reports, documents

GT provides Responsible Parties, Consultants, and Laboratories with:

Easy secure access to GT

Easy error checking of formatted data

Easy uploading of formatted data (analytical data, survey data, depth-to-water data) and site maps, bore logs, and reports

Easy management of their projects

Electronic Submittal of Information (ESI) The State Water Resources Control Board is

authorized… To require a person who is submitting a report

relating to a program administered by the board, to the board, a regional board, or a local agency,

to submit the report in electronic format, as prescribed.

Collection of uniform, standardized data and reports for various types of sites such as:

Submittal of Analytical data • EDF formatted data in a Zip file

• Application of various valid values

• File within the Zip can be either a flat file or a

five file Format

Statuses of Uploaded Reports

• Only “Received” Reports/Data show on the public site of GeoTracker (other programs)

Statewide searches of analytical data can be performed

• Sites / facilities can be viewed on GT’s Google Maps-based map display

• Regulator versions and public versions of reports are generated from uploaded ESI data
