For those with SDFSC grants, some things stay the same……

Program Support Structure

• State staff are assigned to each county (reference “Analyst Assignments by County”)

• A dedicated TA contract (CPI) is in place. TA requests should be coordinated through CPI.

• Quarterly Claims

• Quarterly progress reports

• Revision process – any changes should be discussed with your PSD county analyst PRIOR to implementing them.

• Planning process for first year with specific

activities and deliverables

Process Indicators for Progress During Phase I (Year 1)

• Work with PSD county analyst

– on completion dates for deliverables – completion and approval must be achieved prior to progression to Year 2

– Submission of progress reports and claims – need to be on time and include sufficient information for monitoring

• Community Partnership involvement and activities

• Work with SIG TA provider - CPI

• Engage local evaluator

• Work with CSULB (statewide evaluator) on data reporting

Next Steps for SIG Grants

• Work with your PSD county analyst to get NOGA in place (finalize workplan & budget; submit for signature approvals)

• Participate in conference call regarding quarterly progress reports (to be scheduled)

• Proceed with your Phase I activities• Utilize TA services• Ask questions if you have them!

3) Claim forms should match the grant approved line item budgets.

4) Only folks who sign the NOGA may sign a claim
