OVERVIEW Millennium created and maintained a Facebook photo contest for Congressional Towers. The contest encouraged fans to submit original photos of the regional Cherry Blossom trees, and then later vote on the best picture for a chance to win a $100 VISA gift card. The ultimate goal of the contest was to increase “likes” and engagement on the existing Facebook page. APPROACH Millennium’s social media marketing and graphic design specialists created a custom contest using a 3rd party software program. The team integrated impressive and cohesive imagery, well-written calls to action, and sponsored Facebook posts throughout the length of the campaign. Millennium implemented and advised on best practices to ensure the contest was within Facebook’s legal constraints. RESULT Since there was minimal effort for visitors to join the contest, there was great participation. The contestants reached out to their social media contacts to promote their submission, and thus continued exposure for Congressional Towers. Congressional Towers Facebook “likes” more than doubled during the span of the 1-month contest, and these new likes continue to be some of the most engaged members on the property’s Facebook page. 10900 PUMP HOUSE ROAD | ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, MD 20701 P| 301.725.8000 P| 410.792.8100 F| 301.604.7941 WWW.MM4SOLUTIONS.COM STRATEGY DESIGN PRINT PROMO WEB DIGITAL Facebook homepage with ‘vote now’ cover image Facebook photo contest - ‘like’ to enter page Facebook photo contest - ‘vote’ page Facebook insights page Sponsored Facebook posting
