Ohio State connects you — in more ways than you can imagineOhio State is the university of
connections. A place where
people in Ohio reach out to
tackle the world’s problems.
Where artists collaborate with
engineers. Where
undergraduates connect with
industries and professions they
themselves may one day lead. A
place where diversity — of
people and ideas — is a passion.
Ohio State is just your sizeOhio State is one of the largest public universities in
the nation, but it’s never overwhelming. Case in point:
the First Year Experience Peer Leaders you meet at
Orientation will be there for you all year, helping you
navigate the many opportunities and resources available
to you. Once you start to connect, we promise this big
university will feel like home.
The support continues in your second year with our
groundbreaking Second-year Transformational
Experience Program. The focus of this program is to
connect you with faculty mentors passionate about your
future and support you as you pursue experiences that
expand your academic and personal interests.
These programs — and many others — help you create
an Ohio State experience that’s just right for you.
There is only one Ohio State degree … but many ways to get thereNot every Buckeye follows a traditional path.
At a regional campus — in Lima, Mansfield, Marion or
Newark, or at the Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI)
in Wooster — Ohio
residents can begin
any of Ohio State’s
200+ major programs
and have the option of
completing selected
degrees. In addition,
Ohio State welcomes
students transferring
from other colleges, as
well as those starting
or re-enrolling after
military service.2
