Overdrive/Libby Instructions

THROUGH THE WEBSITE/OVERDRIVE:

• Go to www.natlib.org.

• Hover over Resources & E-Materials.

• Click on OVERDRIVE.

• Change the page to KIDS.

• Click on SIGN IN.

• Select NATCHITOCHES PARISH LIBRARY.

• Enter your library card number and PIN.

• Click SIGN IN.

• Find a book you’d like to borrow/check out.

• Click on the book cover.

• Click BORROW.

• Click BORROW.

• Click READ NOW IN BROWSER.

THROUGH THE APP/LIBBY:

• Locate the libby app in the app store.

• Install the app to your device and open it.

• The app will walk you through several steps/questions.

• Question: do you have a library card? YES

• Question: Shall I guess your library? YES, GUESS MY LIBRARY

• Prompt: I think this is the public library nearest to you. THIS IS MY LIBRARY.

• Question: Where do you use your library card? NATCHITOCHES PARISH LIBRARY

• Prompt: Enter your library account details. ENTER YOUR 14 DIGIT LIBRARY CARD NUMBER (no spaces).

• Click NEXT

• Click EXPLORE

• Click GUIDE: KIDS

• Click APPLY FILTER EVERYWHERE

• Browse through and choose a title you’d like to borrow/check out.

• Click on the title.

• Click BORROW.

• Click OPEN BOOK.
