Busting Tips

When does eating or drinking become a sin? When it is done selfishly, with no consideration for others. When it becomes a controlling factor in a person's life. Life is more than eating or drinking; it should not define our lives. When placed before God, or done in disobedience to God. When it is done in doubt. If your conscience convicts you of your eating habits,you should not continue eating in guilt, shame, or doubt. Struggling with Over Eating / Over Drinking Recognize that the impulse to overeat or over drink does not control you. Those in Christ are free from the control of sinful appetites. Keep your devotional time with God (in prayer, and Bible study), and follow the Spirit's leading

Discipline yourself. Consider having a eating schedule. Take time out to fast, denying food in order to seek God(once a week is a good practice).

If you cannot eat in faith, giving praise to God, then don't. If your conscience convicts you of eating too much, don't ignore your concsience.

You may need to get the help of a trusted mature Christian, if this becomes an overwhelming problem.
