The diatonic scale consists of twelve notes within an octave. Each octave signifies completeness within itself. On a piano in the key of C there are 7 white keys and 5 black keys in an octave. Equating an octave to a circle these intervals are measured against the planets in the zodiac. Within each circle of completeness there are fifty-one ways that the tones and semitones can interconnect. The following list shows the harmony or discord between the connecting planetary pairs. Only the basic ten planets, the node, the ascendant, and the MC are considered.
