from what we think of cars today in the world of the Outsiders!

Cars from 1960There are lot’s of 1960 cars from the life of

Ponyboy, and in the book of The Outsiders. Even Soc cars, as well and so I’ll show you: (On The next slide.)

There are so much cars like these AMC cars in the 1960’s, too!

Soc CarsThe cars that Ponyboy described of the Socs

is the 1960’s Blue Mustang, and a 1960 Chevrolet Corvair that him and Johnny saw of the Socs.

1960 Blue MustangThis is also the car that Johnny saw of the

Socs when they beated him half-death when they jumped him. (As last of that quote I heard of in the book.)

Chevy 1960 CorvairThis is the 1960 Corvair that Ponyboy

described of the Socs , and what they drive to make themselves more of an elite gang!
