Building Blocks

From humble beginnings to renowned furniture innovation, Draenert was founded on the banks of the beautiful Lake Constance by Dr Peter Draenert. Every element

of their furniture is made by them and represents their passion in the product.

Their own ‘Stone Park’ holds gems of creation in over 200 different types of stone including marble, limestone, travertine, quartzite and granite.

Every slab is a piece of art that is not destroyed by the manner in which it is cut, but rather displayed to perfection.

The combination of both the form and function of the Draenert Adler II Table is inspired by its name (Eagle). This majestic and imposing dining table spreads it’s wings to display an impressive size. With high class engineering, when the

two halves of the table top are pulled apart, the invisible mid-section lifts until a complete unit is formed.

The brief was to create a large extension for open plan living, including kitchen, sitting and dining area. The corner of the house

was completely removed and transformed with an ‘L’ Shaped wintergarden.

The Caulfield Company also replaced the windows and two sets of bi-folding doors to the rear elevation, to fit in harmony

with the new wintergarden.

The custom-made flexible Bi-Folding doors by Solarlux can be opened or closed to the exact width you require across the entire opening with just a flick of the wrist. The individual panels glide quietly and smoothly inwards or outwards, right or left. Even when closed, the large expanses of glass create a feeling of freedom with

light-filled space and an unobstructed view of the great outdoors.

A seamless transition intothe boundless outdoors So impressed by the Solarlux Bi-Folding doors which they had fitted ten years

previously, the client was keen to use them once again in a new ‘barn style’ kitchen extension to their home. The Caulfield Company successfully installed

the new gable facade and windows which overlook and match the timeless design of its sister product.

This traditional bespoke hardwood conservatory was designed to replace a listed greenhouse attached to a Grade II listed

19th century stone castle, deep in the Yorkshire dales. Used by it’s owners as a garden room sanctuary to

a beautiful walled garden.

This magnificent dome is over seven meters in diameter and houses twenty eight fully curved glass segments adding a real spectacle to an already majestic building. Every detail has been refined to create something to reflect the

grandeur of the surroundings. With extra slender double glazing, to assimilate the architecture of this Nottinghamshire listed building it’s attached to,

we were able to maintain the character of the period.

The above conservatory was designed to compliment a Grade II listed Georgian vicarage in a quaint village in

Hertfordshire. Fitting perfectly within its picturesque surroundings, this classic structure highlights the range which our designers can

deliver on any brief.

In this flagship project with many technical considerations,

careful planning andconstruction created a truearchitectural masterpiece.
