FOOD PREPARATION WAIVER AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

HOTEL POLICYThe use of an outside caterer is permitted as long as they conform to the standards set forth by Lansdowne. The

outside caterer must provide the hotel with a certificate of general liability insurance ($5,000,000). After approval, hotel

will provide the caterer and client with the Lansdowne waiver, safety standards and standard operating procedures.

The Outside Catering Addendum is required prior to contract signing. The outside caterer does not have access to

the kitchen. All food must come hot, prepared and ready to serve. The hotel will require the outside caterer to provide

(1) attendant per 100 guests to assist with the handling of outside catered food. By signing below, you agree to accept

the responsibility and abide by the terms set in this agreement.

WAIVERPatron agrees to waive any claim for damages of any nature and release Lansdowne, its owner, its

subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees and agents from any liability or responsibility whatsoever for any ill effect,

injury, or loss incurred by patron or any third party including all manner of actions, causes of action, suits, debts,

damages or claims at Lansdowne.

INDEMNIFICATIONPatron agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Lansdowne, its owner, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers,

employees and agents from and against all liability, claims, suits, demands, damages, judgment, costs and expenses

to which any of the above-named parties may be subject by reason of any claim for, any injury to, or death of any

person or persons, or for damages to property or otherwise arising from of in connection with Patron’s purchase,

preparation or service of food at Lansdowne.

PATRON’S ACKNOWLEDGEMENTPatron’s signature below indicates that Patron has read and understands this Agreement and agrees to its contents.

Patron also acknowledges that the person signing on behalf of Patron is authorized to bind Patron to the terms of this

Agreement.

GENERAL INFORMATION

DEPOSITSA 25% deposit is required to confirm all social events at the time of the signed contract. The following deposit schedule has been setup for your Function: • Date of Signed Contract - 25% of Total Beverage and Rental Minimum • 180 Days Prior to Event Date - 50% of Total Beverage and Rental Minimum • 90 Days Prior to Event Date - 75% of Total Beverage and Rental Minimum • 30 Days Prior to Event Date - 100% of Total Beverage and Rental MinimumAll deposits received on confirmed events are non-refundable and non-transferable.

CANCELLATIONIn the event of cancellation for any reason, all deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellation fees will also apply according to contract schedule.

FINAL PAYMENTThe total estimated cost of the event is required three (3) business days prior to the event. Payment may be made with a credit card or a cashier’s check only. No debit cards or personal checks accepted.

GUARANTEEIt is the responsibility of the client to provide a guaranteed number of guests three (3) business days prior to the event. This number may be increased by 10:00 am, three (3) business days in advance of the event, but is not subject to reduction. Final charges will be based on the actual attendance or the final guarantee as submitted, whichever number is greater.

DECORATIONSNotification is required for special decorations, set-up needs, and activities at the time of the booking. No rice or birdseed is permitted indoors or outdoors. All centerpieces are to conform to local fire code requirements.

SEATINGLansdowne will not set over 3% of your final guaranteed number of guests.

LIABILITYLansdowne reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions. Liability for damage to the premises will be charged accordingly. Lansdowne is not responsible for activities held off property.

SERVICE CHARGE AND TAXAll costs are subject to applicable service charge and state sales tax. The standard service charge includes gratuity and is also a charge for services and facility amenities.

SECURITYLansdowne does not assume any responsibility for damage or loss of any articles brought into the resort, or for any item that is left unattended.

PARKINGLansdowne offers Complimentary Self-Parking or optional Valet Parking with a charge of $20 per car for overnight guest parking and $12 for event parking.

GUEST ROOMS AND RATESSpecial rates will be offered to your guests when a minimum of (10) rooms are reserved for a (2) night minimum. This block of rooms may be set up through your Catering Sales Manager. Current applicable resort fee will be applied for each night’s stay.

AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENTLansdowne has a “preferred” agreement with AVMS to provide all audio visual, rigging, power and internet services within the hotel.

TRANSPORTATIONShuttle service to and from Dulles International Airport can be arranged. The cost is $35.00 per person/per way.
