Programs try to find people who need help or advice rather than waiting for those people to come and ask for HELP
Define outreach
Person who works for the interest of another
Define advocacy
There are three types of advocacy:
1. individual advocacy - action taken to assist a person in finding appropriate services
2. program advocacy - action taken on behalf of a group to change an agency's services
3. social action advocacy - action taken to change systems, policies, or the law.
