LESSON 1

Contact Groups

Contact groups are a convenient way to organize contacts. These contact groups can also be used to email all those contacts in the group. When addressing an email, all you need to do is enter the group name.

Click on the People menu to access your Outlook contacts.

Click the new link on the left side of the page.

Select create group from the menu options.

Enter a name for the group in the group name field.

To place members in this group go to the members field.

Type the name of a contact or the contacts user name. If the contact is not already in your list of contacts, an option to search for this contact will appear.

Click once on the contact you wish to add to the group.

The contact will be added. Click again in the members field and add more members as needed.

Repeat the process until you have added all members for the group.

Click on the notes field to the right of the members list.

Use this field to write any information about the group you would like to include.

When you're done, click the save button.

LESSON 2

Edit Groups

To edit a group, click on People in the menu options.

Click once on the group you would like to edit.

Click the edit link on the right side of the page.

Make any changes and click save.

LESSON 3

Delete Group Contact

To remove a contact from a group, click on the group in your contacts list.

Click edit on the right side of the page.

Click on the 'X' next to the name of the contact you want to delete.

The contact's name will be displayed with a line through the name. The 'X' will be replaced by an undo button. Click this undo button if you mistakenly selected the wrong contact to delete.

To permanently remove the contact from a group, click the save button. This will delete the contact from the group, but not from your contact's list.
