ESTRAL:safe both outsideand inside.Unical has developed and producedESTRAL, the last generation “outdoor”boiler, fixing some targets:• Conformity to the most restrictiveregulations

• Management of 2 different heatingzones.

ESTRAL has obtained the approval withthe Insulation Protection degree IP X5D,with very high waterproofing to directwater throws. It can operates also withextreme temperatures up to -15°C and+60°C. Very easy to use thanks to its easycontrols, that can be work also with 3different remote controls depending ofthe user’s need. Its configuration withsealed room and forced draught allowsits installation practically everywhere. It’sonly available in the combi version withinstantaneous DHW production of 13,4l/min with ∆t 25°K. ESTRAL can workwith natural gas or LPG and has a doubleelectronic ignition for total safety.

3 solutions for“controlling” ESTRAL

Unical target is to simplify the life of allowners of ESTRAL by introducing a newcollection of technological remote controls,in order to control the boiler with a fewoperations, everywhere it’s placed.

Always morerefined models• SIM-PLEXlike to have the boiler controls: DomesticHot Water temperature adjusting, CentralHeating temperature adjusting, boiler reset,water filling, lock-out led, leak of waterled.

• SIM-CRONOadds to the SIM-PLEX functions a weeklychronothermostat for the simplified settingof boiler ignition and switching off periodsand for the room temperature controlthanks to the integrated modulatingadjusting. This logic allows to reduce,modulating, the boiler output and thenconsumptions, by the simultaneouscomparison of two data: the boiler

temperature and the output required forthe room warming. In addition, adiagnostic system with 16 anomaliesshown with numeric codes is available,for a quicker technical intervention.

• TM 2000offers the SIM-CRONO features, but thanksto its wide display gives the informationin English and in other languages onadjusting, parameters setting anddiagnostics.

• Monothermic primary heat exchangerwith special threated connections and adepth of only 145 mm: it guarantees allthe necessary capacity and the idealefficiency both at 24 and at 8,9 kW (max.and min).

• DHW 16 plates inox AISI 316 L heat exchangerIt’s mounted a sanitary heat exchangerwith 16 plates in stainless steel AISI 316L, in order to rationally use the availablespace. It’s oversized of 25% incomparison to the boiler output. Thischoice gives an higher exchange surfaceso, with the same water temperatureand needed quantities, it’s possible tolet the boiler work with lowertemperatures obtaining:

• Reduction of limestone depositphenomena

• More instantaneous Domestic Hot Waterwarming

• Constant water temperature during thedrawings

• DHW production of 13,4 l/min with ∆t 25°K.

• Motorized diverting valve Of new conception, result of Unicaltechnologic study, it’s part of a brasshydraulic group very compact and,thanks to the powerful electric motor,allows quickly and safely to divert thehot water produced by the primary heatexchange to the sanitary heat exchangeror in loop to the heating circuit,

ESTRAL functions includedthe pump overrun antioverheating and the automaticdetection of 15 anomaliesvisible on the display of TM2000 and SIM-CRONO in orderto quickly do the technicalinterventions.

Furthermore the connectionof a second ON/OFFthermostat allows thetemperature managementof a second zone.

• total accessibilityto guarantee a rational disposition,immediate and simple for every technicalintervention for regulation, control ormaintenance.

Automatic or manualwater filling…The manual filling and drain valves allowrapid interventions, and the connectionsand interventions are simplified thanks tovertically sliding control panel.For more exigent demands, the automaticwater filling will do all itself: in case of“low pressure” signal, the boiler software,that continuously controls the systempressure, will provide to fill in the water.If this filling up will be not enough, thealarm led will inform the user of a possibleheating system or boiler water leakage.

The combustion chamber is frontallyaccessible, so as the burner, the heatexchanger and the fan.

The combustion adjusting are also reallyrapid thanks to the provided forchimneysweeper function.
