Giant Wings; The Bolsover Dragonfly A giant willow framed illuminated dragonfly inspired by the real ‘Beast of Bolsover’.

Heart kEstablished local artist Irene Rogan has created a giant heart that is kept beating with messages of goodwill. Text your message to be projected on one side of the sculpture.

1000 LanternsUntil 9.30pm k Artist Annette Waterfied has worked with community groups to make 1000 decorated lanterns. Plus lantern making workshops for children of all ages.

Travelling to Light Night?Whether you are travelling by public transport or by car – Light Night has two special offers to compliment the event.If you are driving, you can park at Broadmarsh multi-storey for just £3 after 5pm. Nottingham City Transport is also offering their discounted £4 Group Rider ticket to include Friday evening especially for Light Night. This ticket is normally only at this price at weekends and school holidays. This ticket allows up to 5 people (max 2 adults) to make unlimited journeys on any NCT bus route.

Well established and now in its fifth year, Light Night brings a dynamic feel to the city. Look out for fantastic artist commissions which are highlighted with a k.
