PowderPakOz

PowderPakOz is the Australian and New Zealand agent for Powderpak Interna-

tional. Powderpak is a synthetic snow ‘carpet’ that can be set up anywhere and

delivers the closest thing to the real snow experience.

In response to the local Australian and New Zealand market’s strong demand for

snow sports due to the short natural snow season (June-September) PowderPa-

kOz are able to set-up year round snowboarding, skiing and tobogganing

facilities with no need for snow or ice.

Commercially the PowderPak products are already in use across the most

respected snow resorts including Falls Creek, Mt. Buller, Thredbo, Mt. Perisher and

Mt. Hotham in the high traffic lift loading zones providing a high wearing, cost

effective solution for lift operators and staff.

PowderPakOz products are ideal for:

• Year round ski slopes / terrain parks

• First timers intro to the sport

The two surfaces available are the Powderpak LSR and PLUS.

PowderPak LSR low friction resistance 12mm pile height, continuous

loop.

PowderPak LSR. Faster surface. Used on shallow hills to improve speed

skiing, boarding or tubing applications for advanced rider performance

and edge control.

PowderPak Plus. User friendly surface that is in wide use for open skiing and

boarding slopes, teaching, and recreational riding. It is also widely used for

tubing and toboggan flumes where a softer, cushioned ride is preferred.

All surfaces are UV stable, with a proven life expectancy of over 7 years.

All surfaces are warrantied against manufacturer’s defects and unusual wear.

Backings are nylon or polypropylene pre-backing with a final backing of

baked on urethane. They are water impervious unless ordered perforated.

PowderPak Lubricant

PowderPak lubrication can be applied when additional surface

speed is required on lift load and unloads and drop in ramps on jib

set-ups. It comes in 5lt and 20lt containers and is applied using a

spray pack. Dishwashing liquid is also an effective alternative.

Anyone that has been a first timer or taken first timers to the snow will

more than know how frustrating the experience can be. Snow is such a

foreign element to most of us and the first we put a waxed up plank on

it the frustration begins. Every first timer ends up cold, wet and often

falling on patched of ice as most beginner areas get over used by other

first timers. PowderPak offers a unique opportunity to take that foreign

feel away from the snow by making the first time on a board a less
