To help us welcome and settle your child we ask that you take the time just now to let us know if their are any

particular activities your child likes to do, or if their are any areas we could help you support your child

KLAS Care’s aim is to provide an environment that meets the needs of all the children that attend our facility

whilst ensuring that both the children and their families feel welcome and supported.

To ensure that your child’s needs are met we like to encourage both the children and their parents/carers to be

involved in the day to day planning of activities. The children are encouraged to make suggestions through

discussion and by using the suggestion boards in the play area. Parents/Carers have both a comments book and

a suggestion box to use, please feel free to make comments we appreciate all feedback.

MOBILE PHONE and USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES POLICY

All mobile phones, photographic equipment, and/or sound recording equipment, are not to be brought to KLAS

care at any time. This includes any hand held games consoles or music players. Any of these items found to be

used within KLAS care will be confiscated and only returned to the parent/carer when child is collected. Staff

retain the right to confiscate any electronic equipment that they think is not appropriate for use within KLAS care

and these items will be returned to parents/carers on collection of child. KLAS care will not accept any liability

for the loss or damage to any personal IT equipment.

RESPONSIBLE USE OF INTERNET AND ICT EQUIPMENT POLICY

As part of your child’s development it is important for them to learn how to stay safe while accessing the internet,

this reflects the modern world that they are growing up in. The internet access that KLAS Care have will be closely

monitored by staff and have suitable filters which will restrict access to inappropriate sites. However, KLAS care

cannot be responsible for the nature or content of materials accessed through the internet and as such we ask that

children do not attempt to access sites that have a history of inappropriate images or language.

OUTDOOR PLAY

I do/do not KLAS Care give staff permission to take my child./ren out to play games in the playground area within

the boundary of the school. I will also allow my child to take part in supervised walks that will explore the local area.

MESSY PLAY

I do/do not allow my child/ren to take part in messy play this will also cover: Face painting / Nail varnish

PERMISSIONS

will not be sold or published or used in connection with any illegal issues.

PRIVACY POLICY

KLAS Care would like to update you with information on our services. In line with KLAS Care’s privacy

FEES:

Bookings are required to be made one week in advance, fees must be paid in advance of children attending out of

school care. All booked/contracted hours will be payable regardless of sickness or any other reason for absence,

unless 7 days notice can be given. Fees should be received in KLAS Care bank account no less than 3 WORK-

ING DAYS prior to start date, unless alternative arrangements have been made with management.

An invoice or statement of account will be issued to the person responsible for payment. If no payment is re-

ceived additional charges may apply or a payment plan introduced, KLAS Care management have the right to

terminate the contract if an agreement cannot be reached on the payment of the fees related to the costs of child

care.

This contract has been formulated and discussed with parties whose signature appears below. This

contract must be completed before care commences and all conditions must be adhered to. If any part of the

terms and conditions relating to the signed contract is breached the said contract can be terminated forthwith

by the other party. Despite such termination all outstanding sums of monies are still due and payable to KLAS

Care. Please note 2 weeks notice is required to terminate this contract.
