In the virtual realm we try to adopt variousmethods to engage children inunderstanding the subject areas by selfexploration.On the eve of Independence day, all theeducators of Manaskriti came forward andshare their methods and process throughwhich they open the doors of imaginationfor children.With team work, peer assessments andconducting interviews children have beengiven various views to explore theirlearnings. Educators were also explainedthe need of a rationale before everyproject and the importance of learningoutcomes.

While the message of spending time withchildren was shared during the coffeeevening, many important points wereshared like discussing classroom activitieswith children after the virtual sessions andmaking them feel connected to school.

Children at this tender stage tend todevelop their fine motor skills, and toexplain the parents the pincer grip theywere taken through a workshop to helpthem understand different ways in whichchildren hold their pencils or colours andhow simple activities can help them buildthe correct grip.

The best way of learning anything is by doing it.An anemometer is a device used for measuringwind speed and direction. It is also a commonweather station instrument. The children of grade5 made a model of anemometer with the use ofdisposable paper cups and experienced theworking of it.

STATES OF MATTER EXPERIMENT with ANMOLMANCH

Students tried to experience the states of matterand the process when solid mixes with liquid , gaserupts and balloon inflates with carbon dioxide.

SRI AUROBINDO BIRTHDAY Celebration

Sri Aurobindo was an Indianphilosopher, yogi, guru, poet, and nationalist. Hejoined the Indian movement for independencefrom British rule, for a while was one of itsinfluential leaders and then became a spiritualreformer, introducing his visions on humanprogress and spiritual evolution.

At Manaskriti , the birthday of SriAurobindo was celebrated with aspecial assembly in which ourManaskriti minds remembered theefforts Sir Aurobindo made for thecountry.

Children shared a local dish and spoke about the Indian culture and why theylove that dish! From imartis to dosas the classroom was filled with delicaciesfrom across the country!

Fun and Learning

Independence means being self sufficient, emotionally and economically sufficient. Nursery children had fun on Independence Day celebration as the day was filled with activities. Tri color was painted on the face of children and they wore tri colored t shirts . They were explained the significance of the colors of the national flag through various activities like making Tri color Badges and tri colored salad making.

Tiranga Lassi

Ingredients:

•Two tablespoon Kesar syrup (for orange colour)•3 cups curd (for white colour)•Two tablespoon Khus syrup (for green colour)•One tablespoon cardamom powder•Three tablespoon sugar

Ingredients:

1. Start with whisking the curd. Add sugar and cardamom powder to the curd.2. Blend the Kesar syrup with curd to get the saffron colour of the flag. Separately, blend Khus syrup and curd to attain the green shade.3. For the white colour keep the curd as is; don't mix anything to it.4. In a glass, pour the Khus lassi first followed by plain white lassiand pour the Kesar lassi towards the end to get the tricolouredversion of your favourite drink!5. In the end, garnish with pistachio and serve cool.

Method:
