PPPaaauuulll HHHaaarrrrrriiisss NNNiiiggghhhttt Tues June 25th For our newer members, Paul Harris was the

Founder of Rotary in 1905, and our club awards

Paul Harris Fellowships each year to worthy

community recipients. Members may also donate

funds individually and be recognized.

The primary reason for selection for an award is that the individual

chosen should have lived by the Rotary motto, Service Above Self and

made outstanding contributions in Community Service.

The award recognizes a donation, in the name of the recipient, of

$1,000US to the Rotary International Foundation.

Traditionally this is an RCO spouses night with a dress code of suit and

tie as we recognize Paul Harris Fellows from the past and welcome new

ones. Since 1974, The Rotary Club of Orangeville has awarded some 78

medals, 43 to Rotary Members and 25 to Community Individuals.

This year we will hold this event together with Presidents' Night as we

say thank you to our outgoing President Dave, and our incoming

President Richard - be sure to plan to attend this important RCO event.
