My favourite sportsman is Michael Phelps.

He’s an American swimmer.

He was born in 1985 in Baltimore. He has got two sisters.

In Athens 2004 Summer Olympics, he won 6 gold medals and 2 bronze

medals.

In Beijing 2008, he won 8 gold medals.

In London 2012 he won 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals.

HE is the swimmer with most medals of all time .

Diego Céspedes

Usain Bolt is a runner. He’s 26 years old.

He lives in Jamaica. He has a brother and a sister.

He has won 28 gold medals and 8 silver medals.

His personal best mark in 100 m is 9.58 s.

His nickname is “Lightning Bolt”.

Fermin Cruz

Mireia Belmonte was born in Badalona, Spain, in November 12th 1990. She’s

22 years old.

She’s a Spanish swimmer. She started swimming at the age of four.

She won 2 silver medals in London Olympic Games.

He was born on June 24th 1987 in Argentina. He is 25 years old.

He plays for Barcelona FC and he‘s the captain of the Argentina National Team.

He plays as a forward. His number is 10.

He is one of the best football players in the world. He has won 3 ballons d’or .

He won the gold medal in Beijing 2008 Olympic games with the Argentina

National Team.

Yesica Ribeiro

My favourite sportsman is Iker Casillas. He is from Madrid and he’s 31

years old.

He is a goalkeeper in Real Madrid FC and in the Spain National Team.

He started playing football at the age of 9 .

In 2010 he was the captain in the Spanish team that won the World Cup in

South Africa.

He also was awarded the Golden Glove and he is considered the best

goalkeeper in the world by FIFA and UEFA.

Rodrigo Rivera

Jean Claude Van Damme was born on October 8th, 1960 in Brussels, Belgium.

He is an expert in martial arts.

He started practising martial arts at the age of ten and he obtained the black belt in Karate.

He has 3 children and he is an actor, director and film producer, too.

He won the Karate World Championship twice.

He also practiced Muay Thay and Taekwondo.

Estela Araújo

Alberto Contador was born in Madrid in 1982. He has got 2 brothers and a sister .

He discovered cycling thanks to his older brother.

At the age of 16 he began to compete in cycling races.

He has won the Tour de France, The Giro d’ Italia and the Vuelta a España.

He’s very good at mountain classifications.

He likes animals.

Agueda González

Gemma Mengual is a very good synchronized swimmer.

She’s from Barcelona, Spain and she’s 35 years old.

She started practising synchronized swimming at 8 years old.

In Beijing 2008 she won two silver medals and she has won some gold and silver

medals in the European Swimming Championships.

In February 2012 she announced her retirement.

He is from Spain. He lives in Mallorca. He was born on 3rd June 1986.

His father is a business man and his mother is a housewife. He has a sister.

His uncle is a retired football player.

He won his first title when he was 12 years old.

He’s got a lot of trophies and an Olympic gold Medal.

He is fan of Real Madrid and Spanish National football team.

He likes golf. He loves biscuits and chocolate.
