OUR SCHOOL

Our school is called Kaikohe East.It is in the town of Kaikohe

The junior playground. By RaihaAt our school we have a cool playground because it has a slide. We slide down the slide. The bridge is wobbly.

The senior playground. By AliciaI like playing on the playground. I like the monkey bars and the flying fox because I like climbing on the monkey bars and swinging side to side on the flying fox.

Our Hall

This is the hall. We had a Christmas tree in the hall. This is the hall where we do stuff like choir and assembly

The Hall Kitchen by Exodus

As you can see here is the hall kitchen where we can cook. In the mornings some children come here to order their lunch from Subway. The kitchen hall is special to all of us. I cooked some green playdough for our classroom on the stove. I pretended to play cooking with my friends. I helped Mrs Maihi fill the buckets with fruit here. The hall kitchen is just special. It was old it has been decorated and now it looks new just like the hall.Teachers are going back and forth all the time like they just can’t get over the change.

Matua Boss, our caretaker

Matua Boss is our caretaker. He takes care of the rubbish and the pig scraps bucket. He recycles and he takes plastics to the dump. Paper goes to the dump too. He works in this shed.He likes riding on his lawnmower.

The car parkThe main road is right beside our school car park. Here is a logging truck driving right

past. We have a high fence all around our school to keep us safe.

Room 10our multisensory room.Room 10 is for our special needs kids. When we went to room 10 we looked around. The lights were off, it was dark.There are sparkling lights. It is cool.Matua Tamati said that we can play with the lights but he said don’t break it.By Bostyn

Our PoolThis is the pool that we are going to swim in. It is cold in the pool. It is shallow. We have to learn to swim so we do not drown in the water. I like swimming and I like doing handstands in the water.By Colin
