Wednesday July 6

OMAHA ZOO

Meet at the Church at 8am. We will travel together to Omaha.

We will enjoy a scavenger hunt, and eat out in Omaha before returning to

Norfolk around 8:00pm.

Cost: $20 for admission and gas plus $$ for lunch and dinner. Suggested for

food is $15. Total = $35.

Sign up by Thursday June 30th.

Please wear your blue 318 youth shirt.

Wednesday July 13

MADISON COUNTY FAIR & RODEO

Meet at the Church at 5:00pm.

We will be returning around 11:30pm and will call before we leave the fair

grounds.

Cost: $10 for a rodeo ticket plus food and carnival tickets. Suggested cash for

event = $30.

Sign up in the church office by Monday July 11th at noon.

Please wear your blue 318 youth shirt.

Wednesday July 20

BOWLING

We will meet at Kings Bowling Alley at 6:00pm.

We will be bowling as teams for two hours, so please pick up your child at

8:00pm.

Cost: $10 for unlimited bowling and shoes. Suggested money for food and

drinks = $20.

Wednesday July 27

VBS BON FIRE AT CHURCH

Following VBS July 27th, the youth will have a bon fire at Church. We will play

games and eat s’mores,. Bring snacks, drinks, and games. The night will begin

at 8:30pm. Please pick up your child at 10:30pm from the east side of the

parking lot.

Due to VBS being at LHNE this year, we will provide transportation for those

that are helping with VBS to OSL. Please meet by the OSL van in the

parking lot at 8:30pm.

Xplore Our Savior

“CAVE QUEST” VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL July 25-July 29

from 6:00pm-8:30pm at Lutheran High Northeast. REGISTER AT

www.oursav.org. Registration closes July 10th and will re-open

the first night of VBS. Up to 300 kids are expected to attend creat-

ing the need for over 100 volunteers!!

I ENCOURAGE YOU TO JOIN THE VBS TEAM! There are a

large variety of ways to serve others through this event. Serving oth-

ers as a family can be a memorable experience too! Working directly

with children does not have to be your gift. There are countless oppor-

tunities to serve behind the scenes before and during the week of Va-

cation Bible School. See the green bulletin insert for those opportuni-

sales table today AND pick up your FREE red VBS Team T-

XOS, SUNDAY SCHOOL will resume on September 11, 2016!

ANNUAL LWML RUMMAGE SALE:

Our Savior Lutheran Church Rummage Sale will be held on August 4th and 5th. Do you

have too much STUFF at your house? Now is the time to put that STUFF to a good cause!

Start collecting your unused or excess kitchenware, furniture, games, books, toys, jewelry,

linens, and knickknacks. Also men’s, women’s, and children's clothing in good condition is

welcomed. These may be brought to the Family Life Center (east end) starting on Sunday,

July 31st after the 10:30am Church service and also on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Help is also needed for the event, so if anyone is interested in serving, please call Lola

Louthan at (402)379-0855 or RoseMary Goetsch at (402)371-6348 to volunteer. Some

areas we will be needing help in are with setting up the rummage sale, helping at the

rummage sale, and cleaning up after the rummage sale is over on Friday, August 5th.

Remember your junk can be another man’s treasure!
