A SECRET RECIPE . . .. . . is what we have with one of the world’s most famous beverages. When it comes to our approximately 1000 employees, we focus on competency, commitment, health and potential. This is because they are our greatest asset.

EXCELLENCE For the second time in a row, the Swiss magazine HR Today and the HR exhibi-tion Personal Swiss have recognized our efforts: in 2011 we won an award for our employee development process. In 2012, we won again four our extensive HR efforts. We are therefore one of four major Swiss companies to receive the Swiss HR Label.

IN 2011 WE ACHIEVED THE LOWEST LEVEL OF OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENTS IN OUR COMPANY’S HISTORY.

WATER STEWARDSHIP3 THE BEST

WATER IS OUR ELEMENTAs a company, we can only grow in the long term if the availability and quality of local water reserves is secured. We therefore treat resources carefully and with consideration for the future.

PROFESSIONAL WATER SOURCE PROTECTIONWith our water source protection program, we identify all ecological and social risks and dangers associated with the water consumption of a bott- ling plant. We are pleased to mention, that there are no serious risks at any of our sites. As such, we can concentrate on continually optimizing our water consumption.

TODAY, WE USE 27% LESS WATER THAN IN 2001, TO PRODUCE 1 LITRE OF BEVERAGE.

OUR BUSINESS

Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland is Switzerland’s largest producer and supplier of alcohol-free branded beverages. Besides carbonated soft drinks, we also bottle iced teas and mineral water. And we do that with heart and soul – out of tradition.

The foundation-stone for this Swiss success story was laid by one Max Stoos, a car importer from Berne, who signed the first concession agreement with The Coca-Cola Company in 1936.

Das entspricht unserem Getränkevolumen 2011.

ENERGY AND CLIMATE PROTECTION

THAT’S SAVING

OUR FOOTPRINT Climate change affects us all. To be successful in the long term, we are directing our efforts towards reduc-ing our environmental footprint. By doing this, we are securing our ability to operate and strengthening our reputation in the market.

MORE POTENTIAL? In 2012, we will be reviewing our bott- ling plants in Bolligen and Dietlikon using our ‘Energy Efficiency Toolbox’ to see if there is potential to make further reductions.

OUR AIM BY 2020:To reduce our energy consumption per litre of beverage by 28% versus 2011

WE CONSUME 11% LESS ENERGY THAN IN 2007 TO PRODUCE 1 LITRE OF BEVERAGE.

PACKAGING AND RECYCLING

5 WEIGHT RECORD

SWITZERLAND IS THE WORLD RECYCLING CHAMPION. ALSO THANKS TO USWe are a founding and active board member of PET-Recycling Switzer-land and the IGORA aluminium-recycling cooperative, who ensure successfully the collection and disposal systems. And we are col-lection point of around 2,ooo tones of PET – equal to roughly 5% of the total amount recycled.

50% LESS ENERGYCompared to new produced PET, recycled PET only takes half the amount of energy. We will increase the share of recycled PET in our bottles by at least 25% by 2015.

OUR AIM BY 2020:To optimise our packaging and increase the share of recycled PET – as well as generate less than 10g of waste per litre of beverage.

OUR PET BOTTLES CONTAINOVER 20% RECYCLED PET –AND SOME ACTUALLYCONTAIN UP TO 50%.

We save 3 g of weight on every 500ml PET bottle. How: a shorter bottle neck and optimizing the use of material. In terms of truck load, it is a reduction of 57 kg of PET packaging. A true record.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT7 HAPPY MOMENTS WITH COKE

(UN)INTENTIONALLY HAVING AN IMPACTFor 75 years, we are firmly anchored in the communities where we bottle. Furthermore, we contribute to society as an employer, purchaser and tax payer. With issue-specific initiatives as well as volunteering activities and donations to charities, we also have an indirect impact on society.

WITH THIS SPECIAL CAMPAIGN, WE MADE A GESTURE OF SOLIDARITY TOWARDS DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE SWISS RED CROSS.

OUR AIM BY 2020:To contribute to the prosperity of the communities in which our plants are located and support our employees’ volunteering activities.
