Our Round The World Trip

Travel AgentWe are flying from Dublin airport with the travel

agent “Airmazeballs” on the 5-7-2014

HollandOur first destination is Holland. While there we ate

Poffertjes. Poffertjes are small, fluffy pancakes made with yeast and buckwheat flour. These tasty treats are prepared using a special pan with several shallow indentations in the bottom to hold the batter and make perfectly puffed small pancakes.

New YorkSecondly we flew to New York. We bought hotdogs from

street vendors for breakfast. We then travelled to the Bronx via subway. We visited the statue of liberty and the empire state building. We purchased cakes in Carlos bakery.

PeruOur third stop is Peru. While here we visited Machu

Picchu . Abbie tried cuy, otherwise known as guinea pig where as I ,Eva tried something slightly more humane. Aji de Gallina a type of yellow pepper.

BrazilWe decided to keep to South America for a while. We

stayed in Rio De Janeiro. We visited the stadium where the world cup will be hosted. We also saw Corcavodo. We ate pacoca-peanut candy.

ThailandNext we visited Thailand. We ate Kuay Tiew-

noodle soup. We rode on Elephant back. Abbie almost got sick from fright, especially when the elephant trumpet loudly!

ItalyLast on our stop is Italy. We visited the Leaning

Tower of Pisa. We visited Lake Garda-a big lake in Sirmione. We swam there. We went to a themepark called Gardaland. We rode the blue tornado and the raptor. Eva got sick on the blue tornado and Abbie screamed her lungs off.

Our Return Home.We came home to Ireland on the 11-11-14.

We were greeted by our families. It felt so great to be home!
