OUR PASSION A strong community is built on the belief that people are more important than profit. At 110, our goal is to create a strong community through investing in people any way we can. Naturally, this belief is reflected in how we treat our customers, our employees, and the companies we partner with. The following business practices are built around our commitment to investing in people and strengthening our community. “Our responsibility goes beyond making money. We want to develop people – if you develop people, your community is a better place.” —JASON BROWN, 110 OWNER LOCALLY SOURCED SEASONAL INGREDIENTS We source our food ingredients in and around Indiana. This allows us to support local farms and agriculture while serving you meals prepared with incredibly fresh seasonal ingredients. ELIMINATION OF TRADITIONAL TIPPING MODEL Starting this year we will no longer offer our customers the option to tip their server. Instead, we will build the tip into the price of the food. This allows us to better take care of our staff with minimal cost to our customers. HOW THIS IMPACTS YOU, THE CUSTOMER: Very little will change. You will notice the price of your meal will increase, but your total cost will stay about the same as the cost of a meal plus tip. HOW THIS IMPACTS OUR WAIT STAFF: Wait staff will make about the same as they made before and will have a guaranteed income over the entire week. HOW THIS IMPACTS OUR NON-WAIT STAFF: Eliminating tipping will allow us to increase the wage of our non-wait staff HOW THIS IMPACTS OUR BUSINESS: This new structure will give us the flexibility to offer competitive wages and incentives in a very competitive job market. This will allow us to keep staff longer, providing our customers with the best service available. We all have the ability to invest in people. Through volunteer work, responsible business practices, and caring for the less fortunate, we can work together to build our community. Please join us in our commitment to building a strong community by investing in people.
