LightwaveRF gives access to the home from any location globally where there’s access to the web. This can even be done from a smartphone app giving you instant control from virtually anywhere.

The LightwaveRF Link connects to your home broadband wi-fi router and syncs to any LightwaveRF device in the home. This can include dimmers, switches, sockets, heating, alert systems and outdoor lighting.

Remote Control

All LightwaveRF devices can be controlled from LightwaveRF handheld or wall mounted remote controls. Each device communicates wirelessly and no extra wiring is needed.

Wire-free switches are battery operated and low-voltage, so they can safely be fitted in places like bathrooms where regulations would prohibit the use of mains powered switches.

Use wire-free switches to control any number of individual wire free dimmers.

Mood lighting controllers can create and store up to five ‘mood lighting scenarios’ which can include groups of dimmers, LED drivers and power sockets. An ‘All Off’ button ensures that, with one click, all lights and sockets are turned off.

Mood lighting controllers and wire-free switches are slimline and at only 15mm deep, they can be simply attached to the wall using adhesive strips provided or screwed into a back box. They are powered by a standard 3v CR2032 coin-cell battery; the battery is easy to change and typically lasts a minimum of 2 years.

Simple retrofit: no extra wiring, no fuss, no mess

Remote Control Dimmers

A designer range of soft start dimmers in stainless steel, white metal, chrome, and black chrome. All use existing wiring for easy installation.

The LightwaveRF wire-free switch can be used to control any number of LightwaveRF dimmers. As it is battery powered, it can be positioned anywhere in the room without wiring.

2-Way dimmers are identical to dimmer switches in appearance. Rooms with lights operated by two or more switches (using a spur or loop circuit) require a dimmer switch (master) and one or more 2-Way dimmer switches (slaves).

Mains voltage LED lighting can be controlled using an inline dimmer or a LightwaveRF dimmer switch (for dimming, LEDs must be dimmable variants). LightwaveRF is compatible

with the majority of Megaman LED lamps. Please visit the website for a list of compatible lamps. Testing of LED lamps from other manufacturers is underway and will also be made available.

All wiring configurations are standard and will be familiar to any qualified electrician. All dimmers are also legal to DIY install in anyone’s own home.

Inline Switching & Dimming

LightwaveRF inline switching opens up a world of possibilities.

Inline relays and dimmers make it possible to operate mains voltage devices such as curtains, gates, garage doors and large lighting circuits. You can switch or dim them remotely from the LightwaveRF app, remote control or from a wire-free switch.

A LightwaveRF inline relay or dimmer in combination with a wire-free switch can be especially useful in a bathroom where it is not permitted to install a regular dimmer.

Team up a JSJSLW831 inline dimmer with a JSJSLW201 wire-free switch in the bathroom or sauna and you can safely dim the lights even in a damp environment.

Pair up a JSJSLW826 on/off switch with a JSJSLW821 inline relay and you can open the garage door and

turn on the house lights when you arrive home.

Inline dimmers and relays don’t need to be accessed physically, so they can be installed in roof spaces or wall cavities. Low Energy Lighting Solutions

LED LightingLow voltage LED lighting is very energy efficient and, in strip form, offers exciting opportunities for the interior designer, lighting professional and enthusiastic amateur. Low voltage LEDs can be controlled via a LightwaveRF LED driver module. Mains voltage LED lighting can be controlled using an inline dimmer or a LightwaveRF dimmer switch (for dimming, LEDs must be dimmable variants).

LightwaveRF low voltage LED driver modules come in two classes: 230v Plug & Play (230v mains input, 12v output) and 12v (requires 12v input). Each have options for controlling white or RGB LEDs. The colour of RGB LEDs can be changed and controlled at will, or preset.

The 230v Plug & Play module is supplied with its own 1 metre LED strip. The 12v unit is easily adjustable to suit any length of LED strip or low voltage LED lamp.

LightwaveRF LED lighting can be controlled from a remote handset, wire-free switch, mood controller or a smartphone/tablet synced with the LightwaveRF Link.

Remote control, timers, locking, socket dimming: complete power control

Power Control

Ultra slimline single and double dimmable sockets to match the dimmer switch range in stainless steel, chrome, black chrome or white metal.

LED status lights show at a glance whether the socket is on or off. Each socket offers full remote control including ‘all-off’ and group control. Fully compatible with any LightwaveRF controller or with a smartphone or tablet via the LightwaveRF Link.

The ‘socket-lock’ facility can be used to lock sockets off, for safety reasons, or lock them on to prevent unintentional switch-off of appliances, such as a fridge freezer. This requires either the JSJSLW103 remote socket locker or the LightwaveRF app.

Each socket is fully mains rated at 13 amps and fully approved to BS 1364.

If specifying, choose a 25-35mm deep back box. Use a 35mm if space is a concern.

Plug & play adapter sockets give all the benefits of remote control in seconds without any re-wiring at all. Just plug them in to an existing standard socket to provide instant control, grouping, dimming and mood lighting. Dimmers can handle up to 300W and on/off sockets can be used to switch devices rated at up to 3000W.

Plug & play adapters are sold as a kit which includes a JSJSLW100 handheld remote or a JSJSLW104 mood remote.

The home or away button can be used to put the house into ‘standby mode’ when leaving, or re-activate it upon arrival. It can shut down or awaken any LightwaveRF devices and trigger heating, turn off lights or other powered devices.

This thermostat allows the setting & monitoring of the house temperature

from a smartphone or heating remote. In conjunction with the

boiler switch, it can provide a fully customisable heating system that

can be programmed and timed.

The LightwaveRF heating range is part of the new professional series featuring advanced electronics and high performance ARM® processors.

The LightwaveRF thermostatic radiator valves work in combination with a LightwaveRF heating switch to provide a fully remote controlled heating system at an incredibly low cost.

Every radiator can be individually controlled from a smartphone or tablet.

Set up and manage your heating all from the comfort of your armchair using the dedicated smartphone or tablet app. Create weekly profiles, monitor and set the temperature in real-time and save energy using a magnetic trigger to detect open windows and turn down radiators individually.

LightwaveRF passive switches are a co-ordinated range of magnetic window and door switches, infra-red sensors and handheld controllers that work perfectly with other LightwaveRF devices to help make the home safer and more comfortable, switching off a radiator, for example, when a window is opened, or activating external lighting when movement is detected.

The Connect range consists of ‘simple’ passive sensors which use the 433mhz frequency and send on/off commands to individual devices. The Professional range consists of more complex ‘triggers’. These use the 868mhz frequency to talk to the JSJSLW500 LightwaveRF Link and can be set to automatically trigger sequences, timers or alerts on your smartphone.

Each trigger in the Professional range works together to keep homeowners informed about what is happening at home. Any activity picked up by any of the sensors can trigger an appropriate action or alert notification.

Closed circuit cameras allow real-time monitoring of events on any smartphone or tablet- invaluable when you are away from home for long periods.

2-Way switching with LightwaveRF dimmers uses standard 3-Core wiring. Because they are electronic dimmers, they utilise one of the cores as a signal cable (‘S’) running between the dimmers (as shown on the diagrams). This is low voltage only and should not be connected to 230v mains.
