St. Christopher’s We Need Your Help! St Christopher’s Funeral Committee is looking to revise their volun-teer list. It consists of preparation of food & set up (usually from 9am-10:30am) , serving (11:30 am - 1:30 pm), and clean up. They are looking for male and female helpers. If you would like to help in any capacity that would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Sarah at the parish office by email

before. Please put Bulletin as the email subject please. Also, If you would like to have the bulletin emailed to you please email Sarah to get

added to the list! It will cut down on printing costs and waste of any unused bulletins.

Forest Vacation Bible Camp - To Mars and Beyond 8th Annual Forest Ministerial (Anglican, Catholic, Presbyterian & United Churches)

The VBS will run July 22-26 at Kimball Hall, Forest from 9:00am - 12:00pm During the week the To Mars and Beyond, Voyagers will learn how God walked with

heroes in the Bible and how God is always with them too. Children will participate in music, crafts, games, science and Bible storytelling.

Snacks and a drink will be provided each day. Please take time to fill in registration as soon as possible. Last year we had a waiting list by early June.

Marriage Annulment

Are you hoping to get married in the Catholic Church or have to a new union blessed? Or are you simply looking for

some closure after a painful divorce? If so, consider applying for a Declaration of Nullity (“annulment”) from the

Merlin Shrine Pilgrimage Bishop Fabbro and Bishop Dabrowski invite the faithful to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Mount

Carmel at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary on Tuesday, July 16th. The day will begin with lunch at noon, followed by a concert performed by the Wallaceberg Life Teen band at 1pm. A rosary procession will take place at 1:30pm, followed by Mass celebrated by Bishop Dabrowski and benediction at 2pm.

There will also be a walking pilgrimage to the Shrine. There are 22km, 10km and 4km options. If you would like to

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration Les & Peg Fraczyk are celebrating the 50th Wedding anniversary with an open house on

Sunday, August 4th from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm at the Warwick Community Centre, 7074 Egremont Rd.

They request only your presence but if you wish, please bring a non-perishable food item for the Watford Food Bank. Everyone is welcome.

OLHC Police Reports If you work with the young or elderly (serving Communion to the nursing home residents, Children’s

Church, counting collection money etc) you will need to get a police check done. It is free to volunteers! Please bring either your Birth Certificate or Passport with you. There is will be letters and forms at the back

of church for any names that have been submitted. If you need a letter please email Sarah @ [email protected]

Reach Camp is once again returning to OLHC. This week long fun camp themed “Life is Wild: God is Good” will take place August 12-16 in the church basement. The Cost is $10 per child. We are look-

ing for volunteers who would be willing to host staff from the diocese for the week as well as donations of supplies. Please email Kayla Bakker at the new youth group email [email protected] for more information and the link to registration.

Summer Leadership Camp Making plans for summer? Young people currently in grades 6 to 11 are invited to a fun filled,

confidence building, faith nurturing summer camp. Our Diocesan Summer Leadership camps offer a couple of different options. For those students going into grades 9-12 next fall, we offer Full

Impact Camp, with 2 weeks to choose from; Jul 29-Aug 2 at Huron Church Camp in Bayfield or Aug 5-9 at Gesstwood Camp in Essex. And the Empower Intro Camp is for those young people going to grade 7 & 8 in the fall and will take place Aug 7-9 at Gesstwood. All the great details can be found
