THE EASIEST TO REPAIR

When a simple cleaning is no longer enough to restore the original look of your PreOil™ floor or unwanted scratches start to show, revitalization or maintenance repair is necessary.

1 Sand the scratch with 120 grit sand paper to prepare the area for repair.

2 Thoroughly clean the surface of the sanded area.

3 With water, moisten the area (approx. 5 seconds).

4 Wipe dry and wait 1 minute.

5 Apply the matching stain into the scratch cavity using the stain marker.

6 Let dry for 1 minute.

7 Gently wipe the repaired area in a perpendicular movement to blend and remove any excess stain.

8 Let dry for 1 hour.

9 Sometimes, you might need to add more stain to achieve the perfect blend.

10 Repeat steps 3 to 8 if you need to add stain.

11 Once the staining process is complete, leave to dry for 24 hours.

12 Apply a thin coat of PreOil™ clear oil using a sponge.

13 Wait for 1 minute.

14 Softly buff with a (red or white) Scotch-Brite™ for a uniform finish.

WARRANTIE PreOIL™

For any Preverco PreOil™ oiled product, the warranty that applies is the same as for any comparable Preverco product. It covers structural and manufacturing defects and is limited to the original buyer. However, no warranty applies to the durability of the PreOil™ finish. This, by its very nature, cannot be guaranteed as it depends on the maintenance provided by the owner to the floor.
