When? That is the word I have heard often in the last several weeks as we have been separated while doing our part to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. When will we get back to “normal?” When will we have in-person worship services again? When can we meet for Sunday School? When can we meet with our D groups? When will we resume our Wednesday evening meals and other activities? Those are all good questions. I had hoped to share with you this week our plan for moving forward with worship services and other activities at church. However, as I am writing this article (Tuesday afternoon, April 28) we are still waiting to hear from our state leaders concerning their recommendations for when and how churches should return to in-person meetings. We understand your anxiousness to get back together. We want to begin meeting as soon as possible, too. We also want to do so in a manner that is pleasing to the Lord while at the same time safe for our members and guests. So, I ask you to remain patient. Continue to worship with us online, and continue to maintain contact with others during this time. As always, we will communicate our plans to you through our Facebook page, our website and our weekly newsletter when the time is right. By the way, the Bible has much to say about “WHEN.” In fact, that is the title of a new sermon series we will begin this Sunday morning. In the first message in this series, we will consider “When Life Seems Out of Control” from Isaiah 40:21-31. I look forward to sharing that message with you this Sunday! In Christ, Bro. Trent

Mother’s Day OfferingMother’s Day OfferingThe Mother’s Day offering is a vital resource for TBCH. Last year, 291 children were provided safe, nurturing homes through Mother’s Day Offering gifts. TBCH is totally donor supported and receives no government funding. Your gift matters!

Mother’s Day is May 10Dear Church Family, We would like to do a Mother’s Day video similar to the one we did for Easter Sunday, only in this video we would like for you to fill in the blank: “Mom always said (or told) me _________ ,” or “Mom always says (or tells) me _________ .” All ages are welcome to submit a video. Please keep the video to 10 seconds or less, and please submit it by Wednesday, May 6. You can either e-mail it to [email protected], or upload it to the google drive link located on the FBC Paris Facebook page. Just a friendly reminder, this will be used in our worship service and broadcast on Facebook! Thanks for taking the time to participate! We look forward to seeing everyone! Jeremy
