What is taking place and unfolding across the globe has brought to the forefront, what is important to us all, Health, Wellbeing, Love, Compassion and Whanau. Living out our school virtues; Faith – Whakapono, Hope – Tūmanako, Love – Aroha and Charity – Manaakitanga gives us strength and support together as a community. With the current COVID 19 virus we have needed to make some decisions for the coming weeks to ensure the safety of our children, staff and community. As a result: We have postponed the Intermediate Hub Camp unl August. Further details will come out shortly for our Intermediate Hub families. Learning Conversaons on Wednesday 25th March have been postponed unl next term. We will let you know of the new date in the coming weeks. Buddy classes will not be aending Mass in the coming Fridays. Monday morning prayers will be held in classrooms instead of school-wide. All OLRS team sports have been cancelled for the remainder of the term. - Friday Night Touch tournament has been cancelled for the remainder of the season. - Wednesday Night Floorball - Rippa rugby tournament We will connue to keep you updated as the days and weeks progress. Please connue to be vigilant regarding assessing your health and the health of your child/ren, do not hesitate to contact your GP for advice. If you have been overseas OR have been in contact with family members or friends who have been overseas please follow the Governments requirements, to ensure we keep everyone safe. Thank you to the gardening crew for working on shiſting the bark; Brendan, Vaitupu, Aidan, Ajay, Ashton and Kayden. Lent is a time for getting ready, for being prepared and for living simply so that we can give more of ourselves to others who need help as a way of showing Gods love’. Welcome, Kia Ora, Talofa, kumusta, Mālō ni

I would like to take this time to thank all our families for responding to our ongoing

communication over the last couple of weeks.

What is taking place and unfolding across the globe has brought to the forefront, what is

important to us all, Health, Wellbeing, Love, Compassion and Whanau.

Living out our school virtues; Faith – Whakapono, Hope – Tūmanako, Love – Aroha and

Charity – Manaakitanga gives us strength and support together as a community.

With the current COVID 19 virus we have needed to make some decisions for the coming

weeks to ensure the safety of our children, staff and community. As a result:

We have postponed the Intermediate Hub Camp until August. Further details will

come out shortly for our Intermediate Hub families.

Learning Conversations on Wednesday 25th March have been postponed until next

term. We will let you know of the new date in the coming weeks.

Buddy classes will not be attending Mass in the coming Fridays.

Monday morning prayers will be held in classrooms instead of school-wide.

All OLRS team sports have been cancelled for the remainder of the term.

Please continue to be vigilant regarding assessing your health and the health of your child/ren, do not

hesitate to contact your GP for advice. If you have been overseas OR have been in contact with family

members or friends who have been overseas please follow the Governments requirements, to ensure we

keep everyone safe.

Sacramental Programme 2020 The Sacramental Programme for 2020 will be commencing at the beginning of term 2. The Sacramental Programme is for all those who are in Year 4 and over, who have been baptised and are ready to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Holy Communion. A letter and form will be emailed to all year 4-8 students today and all year 4 students will be given a paper copy to bring home today also. If your child will be receiving the Sacraments this year, please fill in the form and return it to the school office no later than Friday 3rd April.

Absentees: When you leave an absentee message or

email, please say why your child is home sick, for

example ‘Cold, flu, tummy bug, injury’ etc. This is so

we can keep an accurate record of illness.

To all Parents/caregivers/whanau when you come into

the school between 9.00am-2.30pm, can you please

pop into the office as your first point of call. This is

really important for us for safety.
