Baptism: Classes in English are on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. Please call the office to register for a class. After attending class, the baptism date is to be scheduled through the parish office. Marriage: Couples need to schedule a meeting with the priest at least six months before the proposed marriage date to begin the necessary preparations for the sacrament of marriage.
Quinceañeras: Our Lady of the Valley Quinceañeras! Requirements include to be a part of Good Fighters in Family Ministry and the one-day Quinceañera retreat. You can register in the parish office Monday through Friday. 208-459-3654
Bautismo: Se requiere instrucción pre-bautismal para padres y padrinos. La clase en español es el primer Miercoles del mes a las 7:00 pm. Despues de asistir a clase pre-bautismal, fecha para bautisar se proveera por la oficina parroquial Matrimonio: Se requiere que parejas interesadas en celebrar su matrimonio en la Iglesia se comuniquen con el sacerdote por lo menos con seis meses de anticipación a la fecha deseada para la boda, con el fin de cumplir todos los requisitos para el sacramento del matrimonio.

If we think back to the gospel three weeks ago, when Jesus scolds Peter for not wanting him to suffer, Jesus tells him that he is thinking like humans, not like God. Today’s parable is a test to see if anything has sunk into our noggins. Of course, it’s not “fair” that all the workers received the same pay. God is not about being “fair.” God is about being generous. This parable reflects just how much God wants us with him in heaven. Hopefully, our gratitude for God’s generosity will inspire us to follow his instructions more closely.

We are seeking to hire a Part-Time Shuttle Driver at our Nampa Medical Center, to provide high quality grocery shuttle services for individuals in need. If hired, you will give passengers to and from the grocery store, picking them up and dropping them off along a predetermined route. You will need to keep the shuttle vehicle clean, do basic maintenance checks and report any irregularities. You will also be asked to keep an accurate account of all passengers picked-up and delivered using paper or electronic data collection devices.

Why is our Diocese conducting the Idaho Catholic Appeal?
Each year, the Bishop asks each and every one of the more than 170,000 Catholics living in Idaho to participate in the Appeal. He asks us to generously support the on-going ministries of the Church that provide educational, pastoral, and charitable outreach to those living in the Diocese. The Idaho Catholic Appeal provides about 70 percent of the support needed to fund the diocesan ministries each year. The other funding comes from parish assessments, fees for services, investment income and grants, and other donations.

Corpus Christ House needs volunteers to serve the homeless. We are a day shelter, offering hospitality to ease the burden of homeless in Boise: showers, laundry, toiletries, mail, clothing, etc. With COVID-19, so many of our retired volunteers had to step back, but our homeless friends still need us.
