It’s Party Time – The Autumn Fayre This weekend, we are launching the promotion of the Autumn Fayre, which will
take place on Sunday, 7th October and we very much hope that the whole Parish
Community will support us. The Fayre will run from 1pm – 4pm and as it is on a

about the Sunday Dinner. There will be many attractions for all members of our
community including the Dog Show, which proved to be very popular last year. We

ways that you can support us: - Taking an envelope with 2 books of Raffle Tickets to sell to family and friends
- Providing items or the stalls such as bottles, toys, cakes etc
- Baking cakes for the Fayre; ingredients can be provided
- Seeking sponsorship from a business to match fund receipts collected from a stall
- Provide items for a Grand Auction that will take place at 3pm on the day
- Being prepared to run a stall
- Bringing your family and friends to the Autumn Fayre Next weekend, we would like you to bring items for the Bottle Stall – we need 250
Bottles for the stall. There will be a meeting to make final plans for the Fayre on Wednesday, 5th

JOHN FISHER APPLICATION INFORMATION
Each year The John Fisher School is oversubscribed; one of the main
reasons why some applicants were not able to gain a place with us,
was because parents/carers did not complete the required
Supplementary information form (SIF). As stated in our Admissions Policy there are two stages of
application to be completed: Firstly, parents/carers must put us (The John Fisher School) as one of
their school choices with their Local Authority, using the Common
Application Form (CAF) from 1st September and by the closing date
31st October each year. Secondly, parents/carers must complete and return a SIF with
supporting documents (and evidence if necessary) to us at The John
Fisher school, by the closing date 31st October each year. SIF’s can be downloaded from the school website
www.johnfisherschool.org and returned via post or in person, or
you can collect them directly from the school. If you return your
completed SIF and original supporting documents / evidence by post,
we ask that you please provide a correctly stamped addressed
envelope for us to return the documents back to you.

A TIME FOR MOURNING Anger, resentment, depression… Those are some of the feelings often
experienced in grief. When will they end? How to cope? Such
questions are common among those who have been bereaved. On
October 12-14th there will be a retreat/workshop for those suffering
the pain of loss. It takes place at Aylesford Priory and is residential.
For more details telephone Elizabeth Partridge on 01303 670880 or
