PERPETUAL ADORATION Today we rejoice with
Jesus. We show Him our
love and appreciation and
that we believe He is our
King. Are we like our
ancestors in faith and love
Him only if He sets our
world to our favor? Do
we follow Him only when
expedient and it bears a
reward? This week let us
go before our Eucharistic
Jesus and ask Him to help
us examine our conscience,
unite our hearts with His
and humbly accept
Confession with His priests. Let this Good Friday be
truly good for us in that we are prepared for Easter
Sunday. Bring our children and teach them that
Easter Sunday is the beginning of our Faith.
ADORERS, OFFER AN HOUR THIS WEEK
FOR ALL RECEIVING THE SACRAMENT OF
RECONCILIATION, FOR THOSE WHO ARE
AFRAID OF THIS ENCOUNTER, FOR ALL
WHO STAY AWAY OUT OF IGNORANCE
AND FOR ALL WHO NEVER THINK THEY
NEED TO CONFESS.

A Spiritual Meditation
“Don’t worry about anything: Instead, pray about
everything: Tell God
your needs and don’t
forget to thank Him for
His answers. If you do
this, you will experience
God’s peace which is far more wonderful than the
human mind can understand. His peace will keep
your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as
you trust in Christ Jesus.”
The Good Friday Collection is requested by the Holy
Father. The pontifical collection allows for care of
Christianity’s holiest sites and for God’s people living in
the Holy land. Thank you for your generosity.
AROUND THE PARISH
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Shop Rite in
Somers Point for supplying the 500 grocery bags for the
faithFull Food Drive. These bags enabled us to collect
over 4,000 lbs. of food. Thank you Nancy of Shop Rite
for your charitable help!

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
Will be observed here at our parish on
Sunday, April 3rd. The services begin at
3:00 p.m. and will incorporate the recitation
of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, recitation
of the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary,
reading of a Concise Catechesis of Divine
Mercy Sunday (incorporating Pope Saint
John Paul II’s Message of 1981) and time
for private devotion. The Holy Hour concludes with
Benediction. Divine Mercy Sunday is an annual celebration
of God’s Mercy when all sin is forgiven and the punishment
due to sin is completely removed for those who prepare for
this day by celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation prior
to today, and who receive Holy Eucharist on the day itself.
The focus of Divine Mercy Sunday is on God’s Mercy for
sinners, for those who turn to Him with trust.
Thank you to the Legion of Mary for
coordinating “OUR GIFT OF DIVINE
MERCY” held on Saturday, March
5th. The recitation of the Rosary, the
3 O’Clock Divine Mercy Chaplet and
the two talks and Benediction were
spiritually enriching especially
during this Lenten season.
Palm Crosses will be available after all
Masses until today -

man whom you call the King of the Jews?’ And they
shouted again, ‘Crucify Him.’” (Mark 15:12-13)
Jesus told us “whatever you do for the least of my
