If you are attending Mass in person,
please follow the Guidelines:
• Face masks must be worn at all times.
• To attend, you must register by 2 pm
the day prior to the Mass you want to
attend.
• Weekend and Monday Masses must be
registered by Friday at 2 pm.
• To register you can email
or call the main office at 203-235-6381.
• Hand sanitizer will be available as you
enter and exit the church.
• No singing during the Mass.
• Communion will be distributed in
hand only.
Our Lady Queen of Angels has set up an Emergency Fund. The purpose of the Emergency Fund is to help parishioners and the community in this special time of need and to
help replenish the Food Pantry. If you are inclined to make a special donation to Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish Emergency Fund you could do so either by mailing a check to the parish office in a parishioner envelope or you can contribute through our Parish Giving program. To access our Parish Giving program, go to the homepage of our website (www.olqoa.org) and click on the link there. Once on the Parish Giving website, you can contribute by creating an account or clicking "Pay Now". Either way you choose, there is an option under "Parish Collections" to contribute to the Emergency Fund. Thank you for your continued support of Our lady Queen of Angels Parish!

Face Mask
Creator God, as I prepare to go
into the world, help me to see the
sacramental nature of wearing this
cloth. Let it be a tangible and visible
way of living love for my neighbors,
as I love myself.
Christ Jesus, since my lips will
be covered, uncover my heart, that
people would see my smile in the
crinkles around my eyes. Since my
voice may be muffled, help me to
speak clearly, not only with my
words, but with my actions.
Holy Spirit, as the elastic
touches my ears, remind me to listen
carefully and caringly to all those I
meet. May this simple piece of cloth
be shield and banner, and may your
each breath that it holds, be filled
with Your love. In Your name and in
that love, I pray.

Lent Bible Study ZOOM class
• Sunday evenings, from February 21st through March 28th,
• A 6-week, ZOOM class with the book: “Short Stories by Jesus: The Enigmatic Parables of a Controversial Rabbi”, by Dr. Amy-Jill Levine.
• Jesus was a skilled storyteller and perceptive teacher who used parables from everyday life to effectively convey his message and meaning. BUT, we tend to receive and process the parables very differently from Jesus’ audiences in first-century Palestine. There’s a reason for that: their life, their culture, their
world was very different from ours today. Dr. Amy-Jill Levine will help us to see the parables in a different light – the ancient light of the Jewish culture and world at the time of Jesus. The parables seem like “old hat” to us, today – but, with fresh eyes, their relevance for today comes alive. If interested, print out the registration form on the website
www.olqoa.orgbiblestudy fill it out, attach a check made out to the parish for $25 – and mail it to the address on the form.
• Your registration must be RECEIVED BY (not mailed by!) Sunday, January 31st – AND – the class is limited to just 25 attendees! (Note: this will be our only Bible study class this Spring.)
About the Author: Amy-Jill Levine has a rock-solid knowledge of Judeo-Christian history, sources, languages and authorities. Yet she doesn’t speak and write from some “ivory tower.” Her insights are scholarly and, most importantly, legitimate ... and her lively dialog and humor keep you engaged with what you are learning.
