(from the novena in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe) Dear%OLG%Families,%Gentleness%and%strength%–%key%words%for%these%days%before%Christmas.%%Let%me%share%some%ways%of%gentleness%and%strength%that%have%come%from%our%children%at%school.%%The%AdventBChristmas%tree%in%our%foyer%is%decorated%with%a%“50%Acts%of%Kindness”%chain%B%acts%of%kindness%recently%done%by%(or%witnessed%by)%our%students.%%

"I%fed%someone%else's%dog."%

"I%helped%my%grandpa%walk%up%the%stairs."%

"I%made%breakfast%in%bed%for%my%parents."%

"At%Costco%my%mom%was%with%a%cashier%and%had%no%change,%so%a%man%and%a%lady%who%were%standing%in%the%back%of%us,%paid%for%us.%That's%kindness."%

"I%shared%my%things%with%my%friends%and%I%shared%my%new%toy%with%my%sister."%

Please pray for Daniel Vera (1st grade) who will be undergoing surgery this week and Erik Niemann (1st grade) who will undergoing surgery on 12/19. We ask our loving and merciful Lord to keep these young boys and their families in His constant care. May they feel His peace as the boys recover. Please pray for the repose of the soul of Guadalupe Salinas, great-grandmother to Hector (gr 4) and Amanda Barahona (gr 2). May she be welcomed into Heaven with great joy.

This!year’s!OLG!School!Christmas!Program!will!take!place!in!the!Church!at!the!Fremont!Blvd!location!at!7:00pm!on!Thursday,!December!18th.!!Families!and!friends!are!invited!to!attend.!!!

lost each year and to pray for hope, peace and love in their honor.

By the 2nd anniversary of the Sandy Hook shootings,

An estimated 60,000 more Americans will have died from gun violence, Help us shine a light on this tragic toll.
