Even as HNA Group has grown to become a large interna-tional corporation, it has maintained a stark commitment to strong CSR practices. One of HNA’s key CSR initiatives is HNA Brightness Action, which over the last 12 years has helped over 6000 cataract patients to regain their sight in regions including the Tibetan Plateau, Xinjiang, and Inner-Mongolia as well as Africa and Southeast Asia. In 2016, HNA Group initiated the Nepal World Culture Heritage Program with UNESCO, and worked with UNICEF on the Love Gift Program. To date, HNA Group has donated over RMB 10 billion in charity.

One of my most memorable and rewarding training experiences at
HNA was the one week of training that HNA Tourism hosted for all
newly-hired management trainees. Not only did it help me become
better oriented to the company and its operations, it also helped
me gain practical leadership experience in a Chinese environ-
ment. The training also gave me the opportunity to interact with
some of the company’s highest level executives, including the
Chairman of the Board of Directors of HNA Tourism, an opportu-
nity that may not have otherwise been available.
Everyone has their own set of personal and professional goals,
and the ITP can help you achieve those goals. But working at
HNA will provide you with new and exciting challenges that
you’ve probably never imagined, and you should be prepared to
consider the opportunities that arise when they come. Also,
working in HNA’s offices in China will expose you to new situa-
tions you’ve probably never seen in your home country, giving
you the tools to think outside of the box and approach problems
in new ways.

For the past half year, I have been fortunate and honored to be in
the Working Group of HNA Overseas HR IT System Project as a
Project Manager to deploy HR System for overseas affiliated
companies of HNA Group and learned a lot from it.
I am particularly attracted to HNA Tech & Logistics, which is an
international and fast-developing company at the cutting edge of
technology and business, and I believe it can provide me numer-
ous prospects for my future career. I am especially interested in
ITP because it offers opportunities for graduates to gain interna-
tional industry-leading training and real-world working experi-
ence. Having access to experienced professionals, mentors and
buddies provides the support and motivation needed for me to
achieve my full potential.
In my position I have had the privilege of working on the team
responsible for establishing four new flight routes connecting
China and Australia, as well as one new flight route connecting
China and New Zealand. To see a project go from just an idea to
a fully-functioning international flight route has been an amazing
experience and one I will treasure both professionally and
personally for the rest of my life.

Within a few weeks, the culture of HNA moved me and let me find
a sense of belonging. I know that this is my new beginning, and I
have to learn to improve in such an energetic and capable team.

I joined HNA Group from November at Risk Control Department,
responsible for the risk governance of the 18 financial and
quasi-financial companies entrusted to HNA Capital.
HNA is a tremendously inspiring platform for teen employees –
challenges, the high volume and the high standards of work. I’m
pushed to explore my potentials. On the other hand, the smooth
communication with leaders and brilliant working environment
with all the friendly colleagues offer you excellent support and
