A food charter is a common vision and the guiding principles for a community’s food programs and policies. Food charters serve as a call to action for local governments and community organizations to create healthy and sustainable food systems. What to expect at this event You will have the opportunity to learn from guest speakers about the benefits of a food charter and the positive impact in other communities. You will also have a voice in developing actions to bring a Food Charter for the Halifax Region to life.
